  1. Good for you mate. Really. I'm not a 'kenwright Out' man either.
  2. Who said anything about being afraid? The guy needs football like he needs a hole in the head.
  3. Johnson was injured for a long time, and still walked straight back in to the side. That says a lot for the other lads, and for the selectors. I think Richards has improved, but Hibbert is the better defender out of the group. Nowadays though, being a defender isn't enough it seems. Teams would rather play an attacker who defends like a school boy facing Daleks.
  4. Nah mate. They're not reds. Just shit heads. I posted there for a long time. It was decent back then. Now it's acquired a dark side. http://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/threads/40256-Moyes-to-Atletico-Madrid
  5. Actually, it's £1.74 or both for £5.74. Great games.
  6. They're 9th in the table though so not exactly ripping up a storm at the moment.
  7. Yeah, ok mate. Portal is £1.99 Portal 2 is £4.99
  8. Maybe we need to change the thread title. Not knowing anything about American Football, how has the Miami Dolphins team faired as a business under this ownership, and have they invested towards trying to keep the Dolphins competitive?
  9. Keep an eye on Steam. Looks like the deals have started. METRO 2033 only £3.74 ? This is a nice game guys. Russian style narration throughout gives it a nice feel. Don't miss out on this one.
  10. Being honest, am I just thick, or do other people struggle with most questions lol? I know odd ones, but buggered if I could answer them all, on any single quiz.
  11. I think Hibbert has been class for a long time. Really surprised he hasn't been called up.
  12. If they have accepted £100,000, then am I right in thinking they have to sell him for that price regardless of club?
  13. I think the replies on GOT say a lot about our fans. We really do have some shitbags supporting us.
  14. We worked for a company called Steripak many years ago, and they gave us all a hamper for Christmas. Weeks later, we were all laid off, and the hamper costs was deducted from our final wages.
  15. Got to laugh. Our fans cry at our poverty but are fussy about who's money get's them back in the fight. Why don't we all agree on who is righteous enough to invest in us and then go round and demand that they do. I heard the Queen had a few quid.
  16. It wouldn't be in his interest to get involved with one or the other. I think he needs to appear neutral. If I was to choose, I'd rather he was a red, as there is a lot about him that I'd like to throw tomatoes at if I'm honest.
  17. Lol, I feel a Photoshop moment not too far away.
  18. Formby, that is the kind of comment I always fail to relate to. Tactics are one thing. Being able to utilise tactics is another. My tactics could be admirable, but if they include having to knock out Mike Tyson, and my prize fighting attack force is Ronnie Corbett or Derek Trotter then I'm going to be in for a long night.
  19. Atletico have chosen David Moyes Spanish tv presenter Josep Pedrerol has claimed Atletico Madrid have contact Everton over the appointment of David Moyes as their next manager. Atletico Madrid have had an awful opening half to the season and sporting director Jose Luis Perez Caminero has revealed this week that the club are considering replacements for current coach Gregorio Manzano. Former Liverpool and Valencia coach Rafa Benitez has been linked along with names such as Diego Simeone, Radomir Antic and Juande Ramos. But TV presenter and Spanish journalist Josep Pedrerol has claimed the club have contact English side Everton to discuss terms with David Moyes. Pedrerol claimed Scottish coach Moyes is the preferred choice and that talks have begun between Atletico and Everton.
  20. Would you not feel aggrieved that he never had money to prove himself?
  21. No, not yet. I never rush games, or hurry to the finish line. I like to immerse myself in them. I have Borderlands also, nor have I finished that yet, but I guess I'm going to have to dedicate my whole life to gaming if I were to finish all the games I have lol. For me, disappointment is Call of duty single player, where they are short, and rely on the gamer playing multiplayer. I'm still giving Rage my vote this year.
  22. I think after the way our fans have treated him lately we deserve to lose him. Hopefully we won't. Be careful what you wish for in life.
  23. I'm going to say 'told you so' now, and get it out of the way. There is plenty to be happy about.
  24. I'll bet you had a roaring time. Watched 'The Thing' tonight - oh dear.
