  1. Is there any reason you don't like Suarez and think he's racist Paul?
  2. None of the away fans in England are as lively as those on the continent. Some of the fans during our Europa exploits were a joy.
  3. No wonder nobody bothers reading the Echo these days.
  4. Thanks KS. I've left a reply for you. It seems only Man City fans frequent your website though. Are all the Sunderland fans still on the Planes and ferry's on their way to the match? Just kidding mate. All the best. http://salutsunderland.com/2011/12/the-safc-v-everton-who-are-you/#comment-9919
  5. Too much attention is given to age. Our bodies are simply there to carry our brains around. Our brains are there to help us order beer.
  6. I really struggle to understand why teams with Chelsea's spending power would opt for Jack. The 'only' reason I can think of is that he is young, and English. It can't be because of his football, because I've seen nothing to suggest we have a world class player on our hands.
  7. The Twiglets I mean ... not ... the drunken black girl.
  8. I remember a drunken black girl trying it on, and wanting to snog me for a fair home over Christmas. She'd been eating Twiglets in the front seat the whole way home, despite the 'no eating' policy. She looked a bit pissed off when I told her she owed me £15. Man, they stink.
  9. Laughing the way everything is 'buzzing'. Might have to call him Buzz Barkley.
  10. The thing with Bilyaletdinov is that his A game is very good, and he is capable of brilliance, but his B game is nowhere near the required level to hold a starting place for Everton Football Club. We need a level of consistency that he could not provide. There are arguments that you need time, but 3 seasons is a fair honeymoon. Good luck to the guy. I always wish ex players the best of luck, but I'd have preferred he had been magnificent, and for nearly ten million quid, you expect a bigger engine under the bonnet. What price is he going for, presuming he is actually being sold?
  11. It's been on the OS on the Everton tv. I think he comes across well, and honest.
  12. Sorry, but I thought he was lacklustre and way out of his depth in the Prem. I'm surprised he has lasted as long as he has to be honest, especially given that we are skint. When Moyes signs a player, he is responsible for the player being up to the job. The player is also responsible for being up to the job too, or why sign? Both made a mistake I feel. Good luck with your career, but you didn't exactly set the Premiership on fire.
  13. Yep, that's me mate. I 'am' a complete wanker. I 'did' get bullied at school, and funnily enough, my wife 'has' left me (only yesterday in fact) but I'd love to see you knock me off my high horse. 3 out of 4 ain't bad though cup cake. Thanks for underlining my point regarding your self respect though.
  14. I'm not a fan of other people getting involved publicly. Talk about it privately, but keep opinions out of the public eye. They're just opinions, and as such are no more relevant than that of anybody else. It's up to Johnson what he does. Mcgrath shouldn't single him out for criticism. It's great saying what he would do in the same circumstance, but unless you are in that situation, you can't comment. I'm fairly sure had Ferguson told Mcgrath to put the shirt on, he'd have done as he was told - end of. You don't make a tit out of your boss and not regret it. Sometimes you have to keep quiet, and keep your head down, as your own protests won't solve the bigger problem, but simply serve to isolate you, and in many cases end your career. Dalglish will also be acting upon instruction from above. He isn't stupid. You don't get involved with matters such as racism, and represent your club, unless told to do so. It's too big a deal to act on impulse.
  15. Who's shares are up for sale? What is the minimum amount of shares needed to constitute a take over? Is it these then Mike? Kenwright 9,044 Woods 6.622 Earl 8,146 Carter 714
  16. Hi mate. Welcome to Toffeetalk.
  17. According to the official Everton website, we have 35,000 shares, with Kenwright owning 9044, which equates to 25.84%. http://www.evertonfc.com/club/everton-shareholders.html
  18. Don't say I never offer you any recognition for your managerial qualities.
  19. Hypothetically speaking, unless I'm wrong, Kenwright owns around a quarter of the shares. What is for sale? Just his shares, or everybody's shares? If his shares were worth 30 million, surely that then makes the club worth £120m at the time of purchase. If it sells for £150m, is that not only a profit of 5 million for Kenwright? I can understand it if it's only his 25% for sale, and he wants £150m, but that isn't the case, is it?
  20. Hmmm .... I see what you meant by a naff ending. That didn't make sense at all. I was just getting in to the game. Did they run out of money?
