    It might help if he stopped trying to hit everything so hard, and concentrate on just hitting the target and making the keeper work. 2 great chances and 2 miss kicks can't help the guy.

    It's definitely odd, but the speculation doesn't help the situation. It's a funny relationship fans have. They obviously care dearly about 'everything' yet get to know about 'nothing'. That kind of underlines things for fans who think it's 'their' club.

    City have a huge squad, that is more than capable of challenging all tournaments. They're out of the cups. Now they have 11 places to keep everybody happy. Should be interesting.

    Am I missing something? I'd not heart much about the lad so Googled him, and apart from joining Watford, and having a sore eye and a cut tongue, I didn't notice anything particularly interesting. Are there 2 Jay Demerits?

    I can understand you wanting to put Howard up front Pete, but Drenthe and Donovan would make lousy defenders.

    He said that in an interview weeks ago. Not sure it's new news to be honest. And Patto, I think once we get sorted we'll get the best out of Drenthe, and he will be a great acquisition should it happen.

    So 'every' team could have had him for nothing then? I was under the impression we turned him down the way our fans were discussing him. He's done well so far, but players have good spells. It's the bad spells players get judged on the most.

    Still no sign of any transfers? I was hoping we had planned things and signed any players early.
