Hibbert is our best defender for tackling. In that role, he would come forward less, which would suit him, and make him ideal. Heitinga can float forwards when in possession, and Distin is a natural Left back. The 4 of Coleman, and Baines out wide gives both added defence, and attack, without being the 'final' defence, as neither are our best defenders, while the middle pairing of Rodwell and Fellaini is physical, and determined. Playing 3 up front gives extra width, and hold up options, combined with flair, and both Donovan and Drenthe can shoot on their best foot.
