  1. http://www.sabotagetimes.com/football-sport/mbaye-niang-everton-fans-should-be-excitement-about-the-frenchmans-possible-arrival/ Bit of insight from a French Journalist.
  2. Everybody has a bad game. It's not what players we buy, but what players they can become once we've bought them.

  4. Flippin' eck, I've only been back 2 minutes and you and Steve O are biting my ankles like a rampant Chihuahua. I'll admit to liking the occasional poke though.
  5. I can only see it happening if we sell Baines, as if Baines stays, the guy has little chance of playing at Left back, even if he can also play midfield. We need a back up Left Back desperately, but a good left back won't want to be back up.
  6. I'm rarely serious mate, that's why my username is Avinalaff.
  7. Ah, now I get it. You have to go easy on the easily confused lol. Regarding the pic, I thought maybe it was an interview. What question would you like to have been asked?
  8. Hands up who thought we were linked with him ?
  9. Why delete his post in the first place ? BTW ... Is that your good self in your avatar, and if so, what's the occasion?
  10. Why has Zoo's initial post been deleted and left to look like I created the thread?
  11. We have a squad of players like all other teams. The players have no right to a starting place every week. It's down to Moyes to utilise his options across the season, and those options are there for the benefit of the club, and not the individual players. All players know this. They are paid handsomely be it for a start or for stand by and employed to serve the club with the best interests of the club their priority. All our defenders are equally important as the next, and we don't want to lose any of them if we can help it.
  12. Well, I did stop posting for quite a long period, so probably have an excuse for not paying attention Let's see how they all do this season. I think that's the biggest importance.
  13. How as Heitinga suddenly been elevated to the status of 'best defender' ? He was given player of the year, but he's hardly played in Central defence long enough to prove he is our best. For me, Distin is our best Central defender, as he has it all despite his age.
  14. That was my theory too. Doing it in the current way would work well if we had the exact same number of voters every week, but the fact is we don't. Distin played his ass off, yet has not a single vote, and Jags Hibbert et al a similar scenario. Next week Distin could win motm yet only get 25 votes. Fellaini could be injured. The situation leaves Distin playing great for 2 weeks on the trot, yet 40 points behind a guy who played just one game. Doing it with the one motm one point system means they both had 1 point. If there was an option to award every player a score, then that would be ideal, but there isn't.
  15. I think we'll have to agree to have different opinions about the graphics, but that's cool. I've just been playing a game called Bulletstorm which any FPS shooter fans will love. There is a demo available on Steam. http://www.bulletstorm.com/home
  16. Nope - I'm giving it to the player who is seen to have been the best player in the match the most times. The thread is after all a 'man of the match' thread, and not a 'player of the year thread'. I think at the end of the season, you could look back on the year and discuss the player of the year as a seperate thread, guided by the results of the motm threads.
  17. For me, if you're the best player on the pitch, you're the best player on the pitch. It matters little that one weeks performance is better than the next. Players are judged on the whole season, and should give 100% every game. They can't sit back after one good game and put their feet up, because everybody on the forum came to a unaminous decision, rather than the votes being spread. The guy who has the most motm victories over a season should be player of the year, forum wise. The year Jags won it, I'm fairly sure Fellaini had far more weekly motm victories, yet Jags had scored highest in a few polls, so his number of individual votes per game was higher.
  18. Not my cup of tea, not to want to knock your imput. That looks reallky oldschool graphics and game play. I really can't believe it's a 2012 release. 3rd person too, which are awful for shooter games in my opinion.
  19. Aaaaaaaaaaagh that cracked me up
  20. http://www.evertonfc.com/evertontv/home/7665 I can't believe how much this guy looks like Gary Speed.
