  1. Round has said so himself that Moyes is busy with the window.
  2. I'm certain Moyes is dealing with more transfers as Round did the interviews.
  3. We should be in for him for that kind of money.
  4. Opinions and more opinions. I'm confident we have a team good enough to challenge the top 4 this season. Arsenal are severely weakened having lost Fabregas, Nasri, Van Persie etc so I don't see them being a serious threat to the title, nor do I see them in the top 4. We are on a high at present, while Liverpool and Spurs are dropping points. A few more weeks like that and we will have quite a lead. Newcastle must deal with Europe, and I think we are a better team when both are on form, and much more experienced. When City have won the league a few more times, then I'll put them on a higher level than everybody else, but as it is, we are still rivals, if you base it on expectations for the season. We haven't just been playing well for 3 games, but for much of last season too, so it's time to be positive. City would hate to play us at the moment.
  5. He'd have gotten battered in the Prem.
  6. Were the weights real? He seemed to put them down very easily.
  7. It was just that you put it in the general Everton discussion forum, stating a guy I'd never heard of was at Finch farm, so yes, it was sarcastic. I was disappointed to realise that no, we weren't signing anybody, and the guy is a boxer, not a Spanish Midfielder. You is now in my bad books you is.

  9. Soccer ? Why would you want either of our rivals to get 3 points? I'd rather they both got nothing if it was possible. I'd also prefer it if we played both right now, as I think we would beat them both at the moment,.
  10. He was a keeper who was good at 'not letting them in' ............ it's a play on words mate. Go have a coffee and read it again lol.
  11. I'm not sure how any action Barton took is defensible Pete. His reasons may well have been one of a reaction to feeling wrongly dismissed, but that doesn't excuse him losing his cool like that. It's not a one off either. His whole career has been problematic, not to mention his private life. He's not a loveable rogue, let's face it. The guy is an aggressive liability for any club, The only future for him unless he changes quickly may well be one behind bars. You can't ignore that his actions often relate to common assault. I'm not sure how being on a football pitch excuses it. It's not about whether he is a good footballer or not. He needs to be able to fit in with other people and add a positive effect to the psychological balance. What good is it if players are constantly walking on eggshells not knowing who he is going to thump next?
  12. These are guys for the future. Moyes is obviously thinking ahead. We would be better buying them and leaving them where they are.
  13. I'd say someone with the strength in their legs of a pro player kneeing you full on in the thigh would sober you up real quick, especially if you weren't expecting it.
