  1. Besides, if the diving git gets crippled, he'd be a burdon to the tax payer. Better a lightening bolt or meteorite?
  2. If we weren't the team with the biggest top flight history, and instead were a 4th division side, you'd probably look at it differently. Winning the Championship not only wins you the league title, but also elevates you into the Premiership too, so in many ways it's even more important. Only losers come 2nd.

    QPR

Let's just send the home form out any way and give the players a rest.
  4. Why wouldn't winning the Championbship be an honour? It's the 2nd greatest achievement in English football, and just as difficult to win as any other league title.
  5. I have to say that the commentator for the England game tonight really annoyed me. What an absolute narsissistic expectant twat !
  6. Why not play Lescott with his ex CD partner Jagielka and indeed Baines? Surely they were the best partnership in the Prem at the time?
  7. Both are in the squad, so the player picked should be the one in the best form and the other back up. No?
  8. I'll wait to buy it 2nd hand, so I can save a bit.
  9. It sounds like the club want to sell, so have made out big clubs are in for him, so they hope one actually will.
  10. Goal line technology is but one area of concern. What about the red / yellow card issue, the penalty, the dive, the racial abuse, the offside, injury time, the dangerous foul and so on?
  11. Hi matey. Welcome to the forum. Ignore the mods and you'll enjoy yourself.

    QPR

I'm going to go for a QPR win, as I get most predictons wrong lately. I don't have a huge problem with Hughes, as the City job was a difficult one, but I think he will be sacked if things don't improve. How anybody can buy a dozen players and expect them to play together in a Premiership environment without teething problems is a strange one.
  13. I watched Silent House last night, and have to say it was very tense and unnerving. Great acting from the main character.
  14. Hi matey. I'm not sure we are underdogs in the true sense, as there are many teams much worse off than us, but we have probably gained popularity for being the best of the rest. We also have a manager who is respected and appreciated by both his professional peers and fans alike, and it is my belief that much of the respect that Everton have from other teams, and, their fans is down to him, and his efforts over the last decade. We aren't a team that were always poor though, and we've had our share of money over our history. I'd love for us to be able to win the league under Moyes, as it would be fitting, but I've enjoyed the journey under him so far, and I think European football at any level would be great for the fans.
  15. Damn, I'll bet that caused an up-roar in the sorting office.
  16. Sounds like Tranmere are looking to cash in.
  17. Having him around the squad is worth a contract alone, though if we can sell him for 20m to City I'd consider that too.
  18. I was under the impression he returns on Monday.
