If you look at Southamptons fixture list, their start to the season has included most of the top sides, so it's no surprise that they would have few points to show for it, so I think we need to see how they do at the half way stage before condemning them too soon. I think the jury is still out on Mirallas. He has been played in several positions in his short time here, and with it we've seen different results. I'd be inclined to think once we get Gibson back he might be settled into a more regular role. If we can get another midfield player too we should start seeing better results.

That is the strangest appointment. If I wrote down 100 managers, who I had ever thought of, his name would not be there, so why, especially after his comments, would they employ him? I can only presume it is to sack him.
