Martinez is under pressure to prove Kone is a good addition, so no way are fringe strikers going to get preference at the moment. Jelly has been given a chance to prove he is first choice, and also to not upset the apple cart too much, but if Jelly doesn't score soon, he will become 2nd choice behind Kone.

I'll worry about Barry when I see him with an Everton shirt on his back. I never take notice of itk's, as for every one they get right, they get loads wrong.

The last thing we want is 4 or 5 new players yet lose 2 established ones of this quality. It's not easy to get new players to gel. If we must sell, then may it be for the highest price possible, and certainly not for the figures touted around. It's not like United are skint. I'll be happy keeping what we have and buying another midfielder. It's a sad state of affairs when you have to sell players to buy players, when teams all around us are hiking prices up with their money is no object attitudes and bottomless pockets. I'd love for City to get involved just to piss United off, but then tell them both to shove it.

It's a reflection of our squad strength that players underperforming are keeping their places. The strikers are suffering as a result. Also, we need to draw them out of their box. Everybody we've played so far has defended in numbers, and we don't have the quality to break them down. Let them have the ball and wait for the counter etc.
