  1. 12 shades of Blue .............. It costs £10 and all proceeds go towards Everton in the Community’s ambition of generating £1million for underprivileged and vulnerable people on Merseyside
  2. I'll bet he wished he'd came here now.
  3. Some of this vid is ordinary, but the (3) clip with the guy in front of the fighter, before the security guards chase him like something out of Keystone Cops had me crying. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjKpQNaczo0&NR=1&feature=endscreen
  4. It could only become uglier should it be worn by a Kopite.
  5. I quit clan gaming a year or 2 ago, but might start again with the new Farcry 3. I've still kept up with most single player games since though, and mainly use Steam. I didn't really bother with CS. The original Farcry was my first real venture into the online thing, although there were many choices back then. We ran clans and leagues throughout Europe, and owned our own servers / Teamspeak servers etc and even trained as teams. It was all quite serious fun. I was pretty shit to say the least, but they put up with me ha ha.
  6. Can I presume you aren't a pc gamer?
  7. Why can't he be put in the same category? Snooker is a dying sport. It is desperate for people to embrace it so much, that it even changes the game itself. The boring bastards who are the governing bodies are the ones who killed it, with their snooty traditions and outdated approach. For years, it was all about keeping the top earners happy, and ensuring they remained at the top. They opened the doors, took everybody's cash, and then closed them again, in terms of qualification etc. The game needs personalities like O'sullivan. It needs it's bit of scandal more than it needs talent. Nobody cares if anybody knocks a 147 in anymore. It's too easy now, as players are so good. They care more about controversy, and rebellion. As for players 'going about their business quietly', there have been plenty of players over the years who've rocked the boat one way or another, from drug taking, to common assault, to match fixing etc etc, including the Scotsman you couldn't recall. O'sullivan won't be the first guy to hang up his cue, but he'll be the first guy that was miles better than the rest, but no longer wanted it.
  8. Pirating is an issue with any product, not just pc. However, pc's are becoming a force once again in the gaming world, which suggests anybody who doesn't cater for them is missing out on a huge slice of the market.
  9. Well, it was certainly different.
  10. Don't forget the price of Coke and Popcorn, and maybe some pizza ............ You did say 'your treat' didn't you?
  11. http://uk.gamespot.com/news/no-halo-4-on-pc-6399549
  12. I think it's actually designed totally for that particular console. Unfortunately, despite pc's offering a far better gaming experience, (my opinion) they seem to be getting ignored by the 'quick profit' of the consoles. Companies like Asda etc even stopped selling pc games. You have to ask why a game on Xbox or PS3 costs a lot more than pc. My pc is pretty high end, and my card alone was over £400 as it was built purely with gaming in mind, so you can imagine it's a tad frustrating to have a first person shooter like Halo 4 become console only.
  13. Doesn't it come with a slight Indian / East European overtone?
  14. Laughing at their predictions though.
  15. Only optimism here. Oh, btw ..... I hate it when folk call us Brits. I'm English, and would prefer not to be associated with the lowly riff-raff commoners known as the Irish, Scottish, or even worse .......... the Welsh.
  16. Alex Higgins was a tidy player in his day, but the game has moved on a little since then Dalziel, and the modern pros are much stronger. To compare the 2 players is like comparing an E-type Jaguar to a Bugatti Veyron. O'sullivan is one of a kind, and we'll probably never see another like it. I watched the guy in the qualifiers at 16 years of age, and he was light years ahead of most players already, and when you consider his father was convicted and jailed for murder at around the same time, just when he probably needed him most, it's an incredible achievement that he held it together for as long as he did. It's easy for folk to critisise, but the guy is a true sporting genius, and he deserves a little more sympathy than he seems to get. For anybody to suggest he needs the attention is simply nonesensical.
  17. They haven't conceded too many so far. Hopefully that will change.
  18. http://au.eurosport.com/snooker/o-sullivan-quits-for-season-but-may-not-be-back_sto3482728/story.shtml TV programme on tonight in few minutes regarding his life etc. 10:00pm
  19. http://www.tribune.com.ng/index.php/sports/50417-moyes-praises-anichebe versus http://www.kickoff.com/news/31184/victor-anichebe-may-be-in-trouble-at-everton Sounds like the press read this forum.
  20. Good 2nd half from City. Controversial full time whistle that maybe could have been a blow for a penalty had the ref any balls.
