  1. Save a tenner while stocks last http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/gb/en/pc-dvd/games/shooter/call-of-duty-black-ops-ii/#description
  2. If the title winning club gets 100m, are we not just going to have an eternity of the same teams at the top?
  3. Mulholland Drive - Watched it last night. Nice acting (and lesbian scenes) but couldn't figure out the plot if I were to watch it 20 times.
  4. Maybe Osman got the nod so somebody will pass the ball to Baines.
  5. Yes, you're correct, I misread and thought he meant Jags, who isn't slow, but I think we need pace at the back if we play high.
  6. It might have been better if he'd knocked it in, then applauded his team mate? I still don't get the Suarez one though. Carraghers header would have been saved, and it was a clear Suarez goal.
  7. I'd put my money on Distin being quicker. Heitinga on the other hand wouldn't win a dads race at a school sports day.
  8. We're a forgiving bunch here, so no worries. We'll just suspend you for 6 months instead.
  9. It's not Champions league that is attractive to players as such, but more the possibility of actually winning it with a team. How many Premiership players would leave for Scottish football, and Celtic, knowing they would play CL every year? The Premiership is the bigger attraction isn't it?
  10. Hi matey. We'd be glad to answer questions. I think a lot depends on the fitness of one or two players, but we are pretty good all over the park this season, with our achilles heel being our midfield at the moment. If Gibson returns, we will be well balanced again, but at the moment, that role is causing us a headache. Threat wise, I think the likes of Fellaini, Jelavic, Mirallas, Pienaar, and Baines are the players who you will need to worry about, though Coleman is quite a threat on his day on the right side too, as is Osman. The partnership with Baines and Pienaar is considered the best in the game by many, though it's been a little hit or miss recently as our formation has been experimented with. I'm not well educated regarding our junior academy players, but guys who are now at the fringe would include Ross Barkley, Shane Duffy, Mathew Kennedy (recent signing from Kilmarnock) Fransisco Junior just to mention a few, with Barkley having enormous expectancy on his young shoulders. Having looked at the other teams, I really think we have a genuine chance of threatening the top 4 this year, with a top 6 place the least of my expectations. We have played some outstanding football already, though I feel we are not in top gear at the moment. If we can be at the top end come January with a fit squad, I'm confident this will be a good season. We've felt that before too unfortunately lol, so fingers crossed. We certainly don't fear any other team at the moment. I think the general level of the Premiership this season is impressive, though more so from the teams I didn't expect it from, such as West Brom, West Ham, and even Wigan, regardless of their current position. Only Chelsea of the top sides have looked strong, though even they have hit poor form recently. United are a shadow of their great sides, and don't know how they still sit at the top, and City have been mediocre. It's a real chance for any team not afraid of reputations to get stuck in. With respect, believe it or not, the only side I'm not too familiar with this season are Reading, so it will be interesting to see how we get on. I'm hoping we can keep our positive start going though, so even a one goal win would be greatly received.
  11. The guy isn't Messi. He's had 2 caps for Germany, and has had a season or so with Schalke after 2 loan spells. You have to ask yourself where all the hype is coming from, as if he was that good, surely Schalke would have sorted a deal out by now. It strikes me that he is a young player in the Rodwell mould, that has a lot of potential but still to prove himself, so the idea that we should roll out the Royal Blue carpet at any cost is a bit baffling. Moyes was looking at the lad a few years ago, so he will know all about him. If he wants to come here, fantastic, but some of you are talking as though Everton are beneath him, and that is ridiculous. We are one of the top sides in the top league in the world, and are beginning to move forward again, so Holtby needs to prove himself to us, not the other way around. Schalke haven't won their own league since 1958, even if they've been decent in recent years, so I look at Holtby coming to Everton as a big step forward in his career, and the timing couldn't be better for him, but no way are we going to go into debt for the guy.
  12. I'm a bit concerned at our defence. Once again, we were easily undone, and too many through balls were catching us out. Had Sunderland been better finishers we could have been in trouble. I am more happy having the pace of Distin. It wouldn't do us any harm to show Jags the bench occasionally either just to keep him on his toes. Coleman has not been covered properly when he's been up field.
  13. If he is a fan, let him sign for free. You talk about giving him 5m in his ass pocket like it's cheap change.
  14. I think it says a lot about the Liverpool team and indeed red shite mentality. I hope he tells them to do one come January.

    Fulham

My point being only the teams who have spent the most time in the top flight are likely to set top flight records.
  16. Dalz, don't you think you need to lighten up a bit? I can't speak for anybody else, but you sure scare me.
  17. Yeah, and while we're loaded all of a sudden, throw in a bonus of 50 quid per foot step during his first season, rising to a grand if he plays naked. Maybe give the ball boys a Ferrari each to in their Christmas bonus?
  18. Finished 1-1 Good results for us this weekend, with the above draw, Spurs loss, and Newcastle loss. Arsenholes and Fulham drawing too.
