It certainly isn't his footballing skills, so perhaps it is his lack of pace, or his ability to foul his opponents? Jags? On what grounds? When you have exciting attacking players, you can play exciting attacking football. Moyes planted some seeds, and protected them as they grew. Now we are seeing a bit of fruit from the hard work, and hopefully soon the whole garden will be in bloom at the same time.

Many of the members there seem very pleased with Barkley, even if a few seem a bit inexperienced with their evaluations. I think it's a typical knee jerk reaction, and not totally unexpected. Wednesday are playing in a very difficult league, and like most promoted teams, struggle, until they finally adapt, be it with time, or investment, and to read some of them suggesting Barkley is the reason for their poor start is interesting, if disappointing.
