  1. No mate, he means like Evertonians probably hate Liverpudlians.
  2. Indeed. I think we can afford to split the Baines / Pienaar thing, and either play Pienaar centrally in a creative roll, or on the right. We can't have our players all out of position just to suit that partnership. We are too predictable otherwise. Coleman could be the important player in months to come.
  3. I don't disagree that Nev is not at his best, but there is a bandwagon encircling him at present, which I'm not sure he deserves. He does the job asked of him by Moyes, and that job is not a creative one. He puts important tackles in, which would get Jags motm if it were him, and he doesn't lose the ball too much (everybody has moments). Until we can get better on the pitch, he will probably keep his place. The players I think should be doing better are Osman, Pienaar, Jagielka, Baines, Naismith, and Jelavic. All are below their best at the moment.
  4. Hi Mr. Mucha. Your time will come mate, so try to be patient.
  5. I don't think Nev has been that bad to be fair to the lad.
  6. Free, yes, but that wouldn't happen whilst he is under contract as he is still a big player for LA. Mirallas isn't a natural Right sided player, just as funnily enough Pienaar isn't a Left sided player if I remember correctly.
  7. If you press the 'pick team' button, then the cross on the injured player ............. I'm surprised Hitz hasn't been involved. We need a player in my opinion that is always in the middle directing the flow of the play.
  8. I watched 'A lonely place to die' again last night. Quite a good film if anybody wants something to watch. You can actually watch it here: http://www.movie2k.to/A-Lonely-Place-To-Die-watch-movie-1905397.html Just go full screen to remove the silly adverts.
  9. So, err ........... Why don't we change the title from 'Why are we stuck in this rut' to 'The TT Fantasy League discussion thread' ? Where are the mods?
  10. When have we been a 'mid table' side? The only teams to finish above us 'regularly' are the big money sides. Everton are better than every other team, some of which have a few quid. When we are all fit, and have a midfielder in the team, we have regularly been compared to Barcelona, and play some of the best football in the league, so it's not as if Moyes doesn't know how to play football. However, opinions are just that, so I won't tell you that you are wrong, even if I think it's a little narrow minded regarding the bigger picture.
  11. Get back on topic or I'll ban the pair of you.
  12. Cheers. I see the wage is 3.7 million with RK. I think Arsenal have been after him, but it wouldn't surprise me if the shite take a look.
  13. Never. We'll get 3rd place when all our Jan signings get their act together. The game needs a small winner.
  14. I did that with Jelly and Baines ha ha, but no joy. I have Fellaini left who is getting sold soon as. I tried to bring in Bale (he did get injured) and Suarez (keeps scoring) and Mata is too good, so back to the drawing board lol.
  15. Just tell Anichebe to put him straight. You wouldn't want an angry Vic chasing you down the tunnel.
  16. It may be possible to sell Fellaini for a very high price, and keep him until the summer, thus giving the club funds in which to strengthen the squad in order to achieve qualification. Then when it comes to giving him away, just don't pick up the phone, or tell his mum to say he's not in.
  17. Stubbs on the situation http://www.talksport... Club - Everton
  18. I'm a bit annoyed with the current uncertainty of our club, both on and off the pitch. I am 100% a Moyes man, but I can't help but get agitated by his contract situation. I'm of the opinion that it is having a detrimental effect to our team, and combined with the Fellaini saga has caused a negative distraction, not to mention the feelings of the fans. Last time he didn't sign, we played poorly, but once he commited, spirits improved and we became decent again. With our team in such a good position, it makes little sense to have this saga continuing. Everybody except a small minority want him to sign a new contract, but if he is going to leave, then leave now, and give another the opportunity to take us forward while we are in good shape. Kenwright won't sell Fellaini in January, unless Moyes agrees, as the fans would turn against him, so sign the contract and let's get on with the show. We can understand it if his reluctance is to ensure he keeps his players, but if it is to ensure a prospective club get him on the cheap without compensating Everton F.C then that is not on. Make your mind up Davey. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jas0vAzFP20
  19. Just a quick Google search for old athletes. Not a nah nah Pete. I keep in shape, so always intersted in things that might kill me ha ha.
