I have to say I wish Roy H and his cronies would retire and let a younger, braver manager have a go. I don't think it's a bandwagon opinion here mate. I care less about past performances. The players are paid to be at their best every game, and Heitinga is making too many mistakes, and not stopping the quick strikers.

The guy is having a bad streak. He looks lethargic, and seems to not ensure he clears the ball, or makes the tackle. Far too slow for me, so needs to look at his training and be more specific with his needs. At the moment, I have to think his head is not 100% on the game, and he seems to be in slow motion. We can't have defenders who are not sharp, so he must improve, or be replaced.

Mirallas is being eased back into things. Bringing Jelavic and Oviedo are fairly attacking substitutions in my book. Try and see the positives sometimes.

We've just signed one of the countries hottest young prospects for 5 1/2 years, so try to concentrate on the positives of that and the disappointment will diminish. The lad might just be another gem for us, and I hope the fans make him feel special when he is unveiled. It would be easy to scrutinise our window, but it wouldn't do any good. We can all moan at the end of the season if we need to, but staying positive is probably what everybody needs most if we're to challenge. There are far too many snotty nosed 14 year olds on the Internet moaning and groaning on other forums, so I'm going to keep a stiff upper lip for now, and hope we haven't been distracted by too much expectancy.
