  1. Good match. Newcastle have a good attitude and team spirit. They're much better than their position suggests.
  2. http://www.football365.com/everton/8479525/Phil-Neville-is-still-considering-whether-to-extend-his-career-at-Everton
  3. Has the classless twat started to resort to mind games before a match ?
  4. If you are serious about gaming, then high end pc's win hands down, and despite costing a fortune aren't that bad when you consider they give you so much more on top.
  5. It was very similar to the film Starship Troopers, regarding the 'footage' angle etc, so not totally unique. Not much of a story line either, but still, it had 'something'.
  6. Why don't the Mods simply change the title of the thread to 'Norwich tickets for sale' ? It's not rocket science. Craziest thread we've had for ages lol. Dalziel, you make Toffeetalk one wacky world dude.
  7. Just watched District 9. A very unusual film. I can't make my mind up as to whether it was crap or brilliant. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/district_9/
  8. Probably best if you let somebody else answer the door Dalz. It's not the match thread. He has tickets for sale if you read what he wrote.
  9. It makes you wonder why they bother counting to 10 instead of allowing the medics straight in.

    Jokes thread

    Lol. Sounds about right.
  11. Evra has 4 goals and 6 assists against Baines 5 goals and 5 assists, but bear in mind he doesn't take the corners or penalties etc, and has upped his game this season. According to the peformance index, (what ever that is), Evra is in 3rd place behind Van Persie and Mata, with Baines and Felaini 4th and 5th respectively. I still think Baines is below his best on the whole, despite some flashes of brilliance, with regard to the amount of work he used to get through.
  12. I think Oh Dear has a fair argument to be honest. I don't like Liverpool, but it's because of the arrogance of their fans, their managers, their dominance as a club back in the day, their constant attempts to persuade the ref, the blatant diving, their narcissistic attitude, their feeling of entitlement, their lack of team spirit, getting us the boot from Europe, their uneducated fan base, their ability to pop up like flies around shit when they win something, their theft of the City emblem, their colour red, their inability to accept fault, the treatment of their boards, the sacking of their managers, their style of football, their money, their name, their spotty snotty nosed faces, their existence, their forums, their squeally squawky accents, their stupid flags and banners, their dropped crisp packets, their smelly breath, their sheds full of wheel trims, their relentless Dole queues, their coke sniffing, their silly songs, their full kit wankers, their foreign fan base, their ability to argue on the pitch, their snidey cheating bully boy captain, their constant persuit of our transfer targets, their little club comments, their pies, their skanky women supporters, their location, and most of all because they will never understand how much better it is to be a Blue than a red, but never, and I mean never, because of the racist diving goofy twat hand baller they have playing up front, because he is the epitome of everything about their club, and suits them perfectly. Did I leave anything out ?
  13. If he has been a regular in the Championship is it worth risking him in the Prem?
  14. I'd say Evra has had the best season so far regarding Left Back. As for Ossie, it was nice he got a call up, but to expect anything more is optimistic, as he really isn't pulling his weight in a Blue shirt at the moment.
  15. I don't have a problem with any nationality. People are individuals, and have the right to represent themselves. I don't know of any documented race more aggressive than the English, so it's ironic that a few of us forget our past history when discussing events. If the Internet doesn't offer enough insight into realising that people are pretty much the same where ever they are (in a good way) then nothing will. The world is full of wankers, but those wankers are not representative of the world.
  16. If you have a spare few hours, here is a concert by John Mayer, with 3 different sets rolled into one epic performance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M41q4blaJ7w
  17. It looked pretty. If we are to beat United then prettiness is very important. Besides, they would be spread out lol, and not in the middle of the pitch.
  18. It's because I 'have' a life that I was up at 4 oclock.
  19. I just hope he doesn't become a pundit. He has such a thick Scouse accent that anybody outside of the city walls would be left scratching their heads, and more than a few within I'll bet ha ha.
  20. Isn't it time some of you took note of the great things Neville has given the club, and stopped knocking the guy towards the end of a fantastic career? If he was not worthy of making contributions to the team, Moyes would not play him. He might not set your world alight, but he isn't any where near as bad as some of you make out.
  21. Isn't it time people stopped using football matches as a political notice board for everything that is shit in the world? No disrespect to 'any' unfortunate event, but football is a game / sport / entertainment, and I get irritated by the continual 'black armband brigade' and their constant requests for a minutes silence. It's time they stopped 'telling' fans what they should pay their respects towards, and let them watch a football match without all the forced rememberance bollocks. Fans should not be put on the spot and have to pay respects to events that don't concern us, or affect us, and in many cases interest us every calendar moment, just so certain individuals, clubs, or organizations can maintain a moral high ground. We all have enough going on in our lives to worry about without needlessly being hypocritical. Most of us watch football in order to forget about all the shite in the world for 90 minutes, not to remember it. Yes, certain events are tragic, but let people grieve, or pay their respects in their own private way, 'if' they want to. Much of it is no different to opening the door of a local church during a funeral in order to pay respects to somebody who dies that has absolutely no connection or association with you. I'm not sure what is worse; somebody publically not caring about something they privately don't give a toss about, or somebody publically pretending they give a toss about something they privately don't care about. Let those who have a genuine wish to pay respects to certain events do so, but mass involvement is as cheesy as those that were 'paid to cry' during ceremonies gone by. In my opinion, showing respect is allowing others their moment of privacy. I've never understood the need for people to 'be seen' to be doing the right thing. The right thing should surely be to know what concerns us, and what doesn't, and a minutes silence / applause is nothing but a show of false agendas for many.
