Whilst we are all wrapped up in the talk of possible new players, be it strikers or midfielders, something struck me, would a change in the backroom staff make more of a difference? There is no doubt we need to increase numbers, but the system we employ at the moment, appears not to be working, and Moyes seems to be without a plan B. We all seem to agree that Steve Round is like one of those dummies in a shop window, and i know the coaching staff tend to be defensive minded like Stubbs, who lets face it, whilst being a blue through and through, he was a pretty average sort of a player I just can't help think that a re-shuffle behind the scenes is whats needed, id hate for us to bring someone in and still be playing hoofball, and Moyes does need someone there who is going to say to him "Cmon Davie Cahill has been shite the last couple of weeks, let Vellios start"

what do you think of someone like me then? my family on my mums side can go right back to the days of St Domingo's, i used to go to most of the matches when i lived in Liverpool but i live down south now, so its very difficult for me to go these days? should i still have an opinion? have been saying for weeks now, that improvements need to start in midfield not upfront, no point buying a striker, we don't even make chances for the strikers we have now, the whole Arteta thing is looking like a massive slap in the face now. We may have a ready made replacement in Barkley but Moyes does'nt seem to fancy him at the moment.

I think it will be this tbh, Bill will pull out all the stops to appease the fans in January, get a decent name in, but it will have serious consequences in the summer, probably with Rodwell

as much as we need a striker its still clear to see that most people agree that midfield is the core issue, i strongly believe that is what we need to look at first.

do you expect any better with the Everton board, typical
