Out of the players mentioned it's not though is it? harsh against Unsworth maybe, but the likes of Vic, Anichebe is not a football player, im sure at school when they were picking sports, he meant to go for rugby but took a wrong turn and ended up on the football team, Hibbert as well (although he does make the most of what he has) Ossie however inconsistent (if he was consistent i doubt he would be playing for us) i always thought Osman was more skillful than Arteta, Ossie can just drift past people, ball at foot sometimes, that takes REAL skill, you can't teach that, it's a natural control of the ball, his only thing for me is that i think he needs to bulk up a bit, not sure why they have never done that with him.

Tbh i had not even thought about the great vanishing goalkeeper's of Everton's yesteryear under Moyes, more worried that it seemed to be another defensive minded player

But we don't actually miss Arteta imo, let's face it he spent most of his time on the side lines and when he did play he often played crab football, the real miss has been Pienaar, not because he was creative or scored a shitload, but because he layed the ball off for Baines so much, Baines has never looked quite the same since, and he is probably our most consistent creative player, he is missing Pienaars lay offs you can see it, he was never going to get the same service from Bily was he

Its not just the Swansea and Norwich thing that bugs me, i watch a fair old bit of foreign football, last night i watch Bilbao put up a spirited display against Madrid, they lost in the end but they played very well and it made me wonder how a team that can only buy Basque players manages to mix it with the big boys for so long, the pool of players they have to pick from is less than the Scottish national team, it would'nt matter if they had mega bucks, because they can't buy anyone with it. Its down to the players and the manager imo, and neither look focused whatsoever this season.
