  1. I agree, dropping Stracq would be a disgrace, his showing the other night was like something from yesteryear, the standing ovation when he went off, not since the days of big Dunc has an Everton forward had that sort of praise, BUT then we have dithering Davie in charge, and you would'nt put anything past him, none of us thought he would dare drop Duffy but he did, and it worked in the end, but no harm in Neville or Cahill, Neville contributes nothing to the team that we would'nt miss if he was'nt here.
  2. Would be nice if we just went all out and started with both
  3. Hopefully we will continue the great work from the other night on, and we can get a good victory against Wigan, 3-0 to us i reckon.
  4. i just think it would have been nice to see him at least have a go in a cup match or something, we have been lacking a striker for a long time, and he could have tried Silva on numerous occasions and could he have been any worse than Saha or Anichebe? i doubt it myself and if he was then ok fair enough, but as has been said before how are we going to bring through any promising forwards when we have the mentality we have and the manager is surrounded by defensive minded coaches, as for them being given a go, all except Barkley then
  5. Find it hard to believe that Moyes has no say in which young players come in. you even made a comment the other day with regrads to Jack Butland coming in and that he would be making a mistake if he came here, did you not?
  6. If thats the best you can do then STFU
  7. Stop being an admin Mike and be a music fan like i know you are, you miserable old fart, promote new music
  8. i guess it is just the way the youth system works at the end of the day, its just a huge bug bear of mine, my opinion thats all
  9. Well Ruddy for one, but i was meaning more about how we get these supposedly promising youngsters in who come with decent reps, then they just vanish and don't achieve anything.
  10. Donovan and Pienaar will play ahead of Drenthe though surely?
  11. ive got a huge bee in my bonnet about the youth setup at everton, just look at what he's doing with Barkley, Ross will be gone in the summer i have no doubts about it, the keepers we have gone through, Mustafi was going to be a world beater, never fucking played, Vidaarson? i could go on, but can't be arsed as we all know the names.
  12. Id say Given was better than Hart, i can see where pete0 is coming from with this. Hart is ok but he is nowhere near the likes of Reina and others, Hart is great at shot stopping and that but he does flap about a bit if you watch him, im not convinced myself.
  13. sorry but we have had far too many good young prospects at the club who have never flourished under Moyes Matt, so either that's his coaching, or we have a poor scouting network.
  14. Another wasted youth talent under Moyes.
  15. Only 3 things pissed me off about last night: a. The bloke in the cuffs, complete tw*t and he needs to take his Ryanair crap to his local MP or whatever not on to a football pitch b. Neville's aimless balls up the wing, no wonder Donovan was shite in the first half and a bit of the second, not good enough. c. Sky Sports pitch side microphones picking up the fact that Moyes was telling Neville to hoof the ball up like that Other than that i thought we were great considering the team put out to start with, my only concern is that we can do so well with a patched together team like that then what happens when the Rodwells, Distins, and Jag's come back are they going to walk back into the team? i hope not but you now what Moyes is like.
  16. just confirmed nowhttp://www1.skysports.com/transfer-centre/clockwatch
  17. Stracq, he's not Messi but it looks like he might be a bit better than we all first thought, not seen the crowd cheer like that for a striker since the likes of big Dunc, he's a cult hero in the making
  18. reading everyone's comments i thought we had just got rid of Bily
  19. Manolas has turned us down according to talksport
  20. thats pretty much how i see it tbh, i would'nt hurry to sign him though unless he improves
  21. Why do you all want Drenthe to sign up? ive been uber disapointed with Drenthe since he came to the club, he looked really good to start with but has seriously faded, he seems to bee a one trick pony with his 10 step overs, which don't bother me if you can do them ala Ronaldo, but Drenthe can't and always trips over the ball. I think it says a lot that he is being kept on the bench at the moment and used as a sub, and i honestly think if DM wanted him, he would have been the first signing of the window. Thoughts?
  22. would rather us strengthen in midfield tbh, whilst im pleased we will have a striker, is there much point when we don't create chances for the ones we have already? all it means is that we will have someone who will have a more 50/50 chance of receiving the hoofballs rather than 90/10 chance we have at the moment of Saha not getting anywhere near the ball, Moyes is going to have to change his mentality and his tactics if we are going to get the best out of Jelavic.
  23. bit concerned at the reports that it's costing £7m
  24. Of course he won't because he will be too busy covering for Jags at CB lol
