  1. Hello 1. So far the season has been quite disappointing, we have picked up recently, but for the majority we have been far too negative in games against teams much lower down like Wigan and QPR, we have a tough couple of weeks coming up and we will have a better idea after that. 2. Moyes is starting to split opinion somewhat, their is a school of thought that says maybe he has run out of ideas, and another that says he is still the right man to guide the club forward. He could certainly do with being a bit more attack minded in certain games, and he does make some odd substitutions at times, I think until he does, he won't ever be offered one of the 'big' jobs. 3. Saha needed the move, he was finished with us, he has scored some good goals, but he was looking lost at times, and i don't think our style of play ever really suited his game tbh. 4. Pienaar's time at Spurs was odd, i don't begrudge him the move but it was doomed from the start imo, thankfully we have him back for a while, i don't think Baines was ever the same since he left, hopefully we can get him for £2-3m 5. Haha, Drenthe my favourite subject, well most of my fellow TTers will sing the praises of Royston, however im not 100% convinced. He has scored goals, and he has got assists, BUT he gives the ball away a lot, and he also often just runs into people. However i am realistic and i think if we don't sign a genuine player who can go past people like that, then Moyes needs his head read. 6. With the current squad not much further, most of them are coming to the end of their careers now, Distin,Cahill,Neville, then the likes of Hibbert,Jags and Osman are all around the age of 30, and as many know, we are completely skint until Blue Bill decides to sell the EFC train set. 7. I've never been a huge fan of Harry's tbh, but i do think he would make a good England manager, however im not sure he will take the job. 8. Modric, when he is on his game, he is just unstoppable he just fires off passes everywhere, thats a new concept to us, we are used to Phil Neville's hollywood hoofball passing. 9. Not the way that another TT member suggested we might do on the matchday thread, that was just frightening: Howard,Neville,Jagielka,Distin,Baines Coleman,Heitinga,Fellaini,Osman,Cahill,Straq that gives me nightmares, we need at least Drenthe in it. 10. 2-2
  2. He must have been sticking himself in the shop window the other day then lol
  3. Nice, i will give it a go, im looking forward to that Alcatraz that starts next week
  4. Anyone seen that Homelands? is it worth watching
  5. ok then, maybe i stretched it slightly, i have nothing against Howard, he is too be kept at all costs imo, but the way Mucha played yesterday was as good as ive ever seen Howard play, and if that's the form he is showing he should get some sort of chance, but then we know that's never going to happen, so what do i know...meh
  6. yeah he does, but you would'nt have recognised Mucha yesterday, he was like a different player i never thought he had that sort of play in him, but then to be fair we have never seen that much of him
  7. whilst to some extent i agree with this, but he has had very few chances, he was making saves in that game yesterday that Howard could only have wet dreams of doing, he looked like a completely different player yesterday.
  8. I do feel very sorry for him tbh, at the start of the game, Ian Snodin said that Rodwell would probably be disapointed with the way his career has kinda stalled over the last few years. I do think(like you) and i have said this before that we should sell him, as he is easily replaced, and i think he is someone who will always be someone who is in/out of the team.
  9. Francisco Junior looks a bit special, he looks like the type of player Rodwell really should be by now. good control, goes past people and good in the tackle, i agree with you on 20 mins viewing he looks as though he could be a gem.
  10. We look very poor tbh, some of our play has been very sloppy, Browning looks like a very promising player, Osman is playing ok, disapointed with Barkley he has been a bit in/out given the ball away a lot.
  11. Ahh ok, but i checked and it's channel 424, and it starts at 1.30pm(the programme)
  12. FairWooney's post says it's a sky channel, i will go downstairs and have a look lol
  13. Is LiverpoolTV free then? i did'nt even know the shite had a tv channel
  14. Think this is the first game that i actually WANT Neville to play, i just want to see him kick that ratfaced cunt 3ft in the air, the noise form the crowd will be amazing
  15. haha Cassetteboy rocks, the Big Brother one is still one of my favourites
  16. I would hope so otherwise, it could well be that maybe it is time for Moyes to move on, he seems lost at the moment.
  17. So we have spent all that money on a player the manager has no idea what he can do......hmm nice one there Davey,
  18. AVB sacked finally, i feel sorry for the bloke, hope the big-heads like Lampard and Terry go rot tbh, i think this is a product of the Mourinho era and their players just have ego's the size of planets now, and they undermine managers and get away with it, they need someone who is not afraid of them.
  19. Don't think he has done himself any favours saying this, the way we played yesterday and most of this season, the usual BU brigade etc, etc, are going to offer to drive him there, i find it an odd thing to say.
  20. Poor showing from us today, we should be leaving with 3pts against QPR, questionable substitutions once again, and settling for a point in the second half, back to normal i guess.
  21. We only step it up against the big teams, it's the same old shit, ground hog day!!
  22. haha, yeah i realised i have seen some of the fights on it from youtube, the funniest thing is about it, is apart from one guy, they are all shit fighters and if you put them in a ring even with an amateur they would get a pasting, let alone in the ring with one of these cage fighters that are everywhere these days.
  23. Just watching "Knuckle" a 12 year documentary about Irish bare knuckle fighting, and a feud between 2 clans, it's quite insane really.
