  1. No i don't, but i don't see why he would be bothered about it, he does'nt give a shit now,and if he does then he has got a bloody funny way of showing it, so what difference would it make?
  2. Aww, i was only having a laugh lol, i don't think he even got paid for it anyway did he. However suntan Bob said at that dinner the other night, a month ago there were 12 interested parties, yet now there is none, i find it hard to believe that not one of them was more suitable than the current regime. Also a club like Glasgow Rangers with that kind of debt and in such a poor league with little revenue othr than ticket sales can drum up 3 or 4 different parties, then something is clearly scaring off potential investors from EFC, be it a high asking price or something else we don't know at the momentWhat i don't understand however is that why would Kenwright want to keep on like this, he knows alot of the fans have turned against him, but does'nt seem arsed in the slightest, so why does'nt he just sell for whatever and fuck off and leave the new owner to clear up after him? All that would happen is the fans would get more pissed at him, but he does'nt seem to care now does he. If you ask me, imo i think it's because he does'nt want to sell the club, i think he knows he has too, but is trying his upmost to keep hold of the reigns, and i think he is putting off prospective buyers by demanding to be involved in some form or another.
  3. I do agree, but players are not assets, and if they are they are not reliable ones as the market fluctuates so much and it depends a lot on injuries and age and other factors, and don't forget we nearly went down under Moyes in the early days, The other thing is, does'nt matter how good the players in the team are, if the manager is telling them to defend and hoof the ball (which Moyes does) then its shite football whether you like it or not. We have done the right thing imo, but at the same time i would have expected some of the off-field things to have changed by now, im sick of hearing the words "Searching 24/7 For Investment" well your not are you, because you were parading up and down Weatherfield with your silly smug grin the other day.
  4. Probably because the club is so groundhog day mate, finish 7th, no trophies, no money, finish 7th, still no trophies and no money, i just feel that we go round in circles each year but i really don't know what the answer is.
  5. I'll dig them out and see who did them
  6. Yes please, a definate thumbs up from me.
  7. Realistically who is going to buy Rodwell? we would be lucky to get £5m for him, he's out injured with a re-occuring injury, Jags maybe, Coleman yes, and Victor we would get £2-3m for i reckon.
  8. Oh they are by far, i have some old James Bond Graphic Novels and the storylines are different and with much more violence.
  9. It was, i hated that workplace anyway although her kid was a little shitbag, could'nt have put up with that on a long term basis.
  10. Sarah Jones, she's well fit. she reminds me of the bird i had a bit of a fling with at work a few years back then got sacked over it.
  11. http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-news/football/premier-league/transfer-rumours/120425/everton-set-transfer-scrap-sunderland-and-reading-over-icela
  12. Based on the reports of last nights supporters club awards,Elstone says we have no money to spend, and no one interested in investing at the moment, so it looks like we will be selling a few then.
  13. Id like to see Jelavic playing with Defoe, he's not getting a game at Spurs, so why not, they both know where the net is and good movement, it would be all about the supply line.
  14. Id have Barkley over Osman though, i like Leon but he is way to inconsistent for my liking.
  15. Im not sure, all ive heard was that there is a chance Baines and Fellaini would be leaving, i think Romey mentioned he had heard the Baines thing as well, so could it be that DM is try to plead to Kenwright to give him all funds from the (possible) transfers, as they are the 2 most important players and difficult to replace? Or is he saying if they don't then it becomes very difficult and he will have to look elsewhere? which goes in with the comments Alan Stubbs made the other day about him being at a crossroads. I don't see him going to Spurs tbh but at the same time, im not sure how much longer he will be with us. At the end of the day it will all come down to Blue Bill and his merrymen.
  16. Thats the ironic thing about the other day though, our defending was comical at times.
  17. Thats it, there is always a few players who make a name for themselves on those kind of stages, so you never know what will happen, and there will always be the Redknapp - England + Moyes - Spurs thing hovering round at the moment(personally don't see it happening) but forget looking for players, we could be looking for a new manager!!
  18. Does this mean Moyes has money to spend early on then? It won't ever happen and most managers will want to go and watch the Euro's for talent, last minute as always with EFC.
  19. I think we are all pretty pleased with Jelavic so far, he shows a Moyes type work ethic, and most of all he knows where the back of the net is, we are all left to wonder what difference he would have made had we signed him during the summer. He needs a partner, yesterday it was Felllaini, but thats not the answer, and Cahill is past his best now.
  20. I did notice that, his comments after the game were slightly odd, but its hard to tell at times like you said due to the language thing.
  21. Like you said it's going to be a long old summer so we will see what happens.
