  2. No, he would be worth more than that id have thought, they want to sell Nani for £30m I did hear something about Gueye going back to France though
  3. Agree, i think he should be our No 1 target tbh.
  4. No but compared to the bulk of their team who are around the 30+ mark he is.
  5. Oh of course, i only mentioned Cahill in terms of goal return, we need a much more rounded player than Cahill
  6. I think Martinez would do well at the shite, he is all for that pass and move stuff that they want, has excellent contacts in Spain, and would have the money that was missing at Wigan
  7. They have a few oldies as well, some good younger ones though, Nilmar,Perez,Wakaso, and Zapata
  8. What i mean is he is no Cahill, which is what we need, hence why Dempsey would be perfect.
  9. Very much so, they were shite last season the few times i watched them on the tv, they have a few players actually that may be of interest.
  10. http://www.clicklancashire.com/sport/wigan-athletic-fc/1212432-wigan-athletic-rival-everton-and-fulham-for-villarreal-ace-de-guzman.html Good player
  11. It all comes down to the BK situation, they are like siamese twins, so the relationship they have means we have to keep Moyes because he is prepared to roll with BK and his bullshit, until that changes, yes like you say this thread is pointless until the off-field situation changes.
  12. Why is it a joke though, he has had 10 years and nothing to show for it, the last few years we have gone backwards slightly. name me another club where he would have been given that sort of time, on the wage he is on, and have nothing to show for it after 10 years? We do need to just stick with him for the time being though, he knows how to handle BK and that, so better the devil you know imo, so from that point of view i agree with what your saying, to get rid of him at the moment would achieve nothing.
  13. Why? if Moyes is going to be exempt from criticism then how do we ever improve, realistically he should move on after 10 years and nothing to show for it, and in the past few years we have stagnated slightly, BUT at the moment, because of the mess that BK and his cronies have created, Moyes IS the perfect man to lead the club, but if we don't at least get back up into Europe next season, then i don't really see how we can keep going round in circles all the time, but i think we will get into Europe next season. He has to show he can do something even just for his own career progression.
  14. he's recovering from cruciate trouble at the moment, why are we even looking at him.

  16. He does, but he does'nt score enough goals to start playing there every week.
  17. you really should'nt be encouraging this tactic it's not really where we want him.
  18. Even then he would'nt know where the goal was even if you gave him directions, good player but never worth £40m
  19. Looks a good deal Mike, however like you im no expert.
  20. We have some good youngsters, Moyes has a good record in the market, i reckon we could get a team together capable of getting us back up again, the Osmans, and Hibberts bleed blue blood and would stay, as would Howard, i would look to sell Barkley,FellainiRodwell,Baines,Heitinga,Jagielka, there has got to be at least £80m there, and what our debts are £40-50m? also there would be parachute payments from going down on top of that, EFC in the championship would finally get a lot of TV coverage as well. Please Note: I don't actually want to do this, its just a possible option that crosses my mind every now and again
  21. thats a test of the players mentality, good scouting and managerial nous, i think we would come back up pretty easy, but i know what you mean, i for one think that Blackburn will struggle to come back up.
  22. Well Newcastle have done things the way that i think we should do to clear our debt, they sold off their big stars, spent a year in the championship, got the parachute payments, came back with a good scouting network and have done it all on small budget. I would have no issues with us doing that, although going down is not ideal of course, but i would rather clear the debt and start over again, as it does'nt look like we will ever get any kind of investment.
  23. Moyes came out the other day and said 7th was not good enough, so he knows we can and should be doing better.
