  1. I get more pissed off with companies who don't even take the time out to reply back and say, oh sorry you hav'nt got the job, its common courtesy it drives me mad, ive had it so many times over the past 6 months, it's just a bit of professionalism.
  2. no exactly, its a wait and see for the moment, don't forget Chelsea have let quite a few players go this season.
  3. I agree with you 100% but it would not surprise me one bit if there was a release clause in his contract, also this article this morning, they have been talking about it on the radio just a minute ago, whilst Felli said he is very happy at the blues, he also has said that if an ambitious club came in for him he would see it as a new challenge. His old man has always tried to push him away from us, although the player himself seems to be happy, i guess it will come down to how much influence his dad has, and if anyone ie Chelsea DO actually make a bid for him, sadly it's a waiting game.
  4. We have been here before but i guess we can go again, Modric was only being valued at those figures because Spurs did'nt want to sell to Chelsea, if you can remember back they started at something like £28m, then it went to £35m then to £40m, they just did'nt want to sell to their rivals, and i have said it before, but imo Modric is not worth anywhere near £40m, and besides him and Felli are different types of players
  5. Thats a nice tat that, im a big tattoo fan myself got a few.
  6. No reading it differently, thats what it says, a return to England, its no come and get me plea.

  8. not if the £24m release clause is true, we are not going to get more than what his release fee is.
  9. Is Poland vs Greece not THE most boring opening match of a tournament you can have?
  10. The BU are what they are, Yes they have caused a split opinion among some fans which is sad to see, but in their own world they are doing a good thing by trying to highlight the problems the club have at the moment under the current regime, my issue with them though is that they could go about it in so much more of a better way, more professional for starters, and they and The Peoples Group, need to rid their FB pages of some of the idiots who post stuff on there, especially TPG page. Thing is they will never get anywhere until they change anyway, as BK seems to have skin like a rhino and is oblivious to all the insullts they make, so it is in their interests to change the way they conduct their business, until then i doubt most people fans or media etc etc will take them seriously, i think tbh it's the reason they hav'nt been able to get one of the media outlets onside, if they did it would be a whole other different story.
  11. Its all very pie in the sky because like you say noone knows what's going on, this is why better communication is needed, but it's never going to happen I know there was a loss on TV, and ticket sales were down last season i remember reading about it.
  12. If i ever finish it, a documentary called Finding Atlantis, about the quest to find the Lost City Of Atlantis, very interesting, i find all that really old history, the true beginings of the world, anicient civilisations really interesting and the thought of a lost city is just incredible, from what ive seen so far, a very good documentary.
  13. So we sold players to pay a bank debt but did'nt actually pay anything to the bank? that just sums up the current regime to me
  14. How can it stay the same though, we sold Arteta and Beckford to pay the bank, but the debt stayed the same? that does'nt make sense
  15. Im not sure what the actual number is, i googled to try and find out and that was what came up.
  16. i know my spelling is crap lol and do i care, err no, i have other more important things to worry about in my life But for you i shall change it
  17. He's a Premier League footballer, of course he doesn't
  18. Not so much improving, but if Baines goes, and Fellaini what are we looking at, £35-40m? and maybe someone like Park thown into the mix. So what do we think Moyes is going to see out of that, maybe £15m. that would leave £20m+ to go back to the bank, debt is said to be around £50m, so that would surely put us in a postion where we no longer have to sell players anymore, things would be more managable? under this board you never know though. Im just trying to think long term and would this stop the whole sell to buy culture at the club. I don't want either player to leave, but the stories are increasing, if we can at least keep one of them.
  19. I really rate him, he's done well wherever he has been and on small budgets as well, good choice.
  20. Ok, but do you want us signing him though?
  21. Grant Holt is NOT good enough for Everton Football Club simple as really, Moyes needs a bucket of cold water over his head if he is even considering this.
  22. At the end of the day it was opinion, you don't have to agree with it, Forums are about having opinions, and the £40m for Modric was only because they did'nt want to sell to Chelsea, and lets face it, if Osman had any kind of consistency to his game, he would'nt be playing for us, no idea why you are bringing Downing into the equation either, not the same sort of player, and a completly different postion. why you would want to sell Baines when at the moment we don't even have a backup for him, let alone a replacement, beyond me.
  23. Modric is a player who has been well over-hyped imo, and he often just goes missing for periods of games if you watch him, poor goal record, quit selfish at times according to a Spurs fan i know, not worth the figures being banded around the other year imo.
