I wouldn't be surprised if Moyes is holding back because of said injury, we all know how cautious he can be at times, but i still think there have been chances where him and Vellios could have had some valuable game time, and Moyes has chosen not too for whatever reason.

Heitinga seems to be getting all the blame for a series of defensive errors from all of them. Imo i don't think any of the the 3 make a particularly great partnership, and as chief shouty person at the back, Howard has had some shocking performances this season as well. I do think Jonny has been crap when he has appeared but to place wholesale blame ala Kendall on a guy who has mostly been getting 15-20 mins in each game is crazy.

I agree, he deserves more game time as he has shown a lot of promise so far.

Great result in the end after a shocking first half hour, Baines is rapidly going up in my estimation list, he really is TOP quality, and we HAVE to keep him no matter what. And Vic! whats got into him at the moment, he is a player reborn, and the new Vic looks a bit useful for a change, long may it continue imo.

It's not so much about reinforcing for strength, it's about having other options to offer in terms of tactics and from the bench, if we are serious about mounting a challenge for the 4th spot then we need this, our small threadbare squad simply won't last out the 38 games imo.
