  1. There is this and it does slightly balance things out for him, there is potential with it like i explained and i would support him until he makes a mistake.Lets just see who gets the job first. Heaven help if it's not Martinez and it turns out to be Lennon or Stubbs.
  2. Wigan do play good football i agree, just think we should be aiming higher, remember our outgoing manager has just been hand picked to manage the biggest club in the world despite not winning anything. I would have liked us to have gone for Tuchel.
  3. I know, but he didn't get relegated last year did he, and his overall record is not great. I said before i will back him until he makes a mistake, if he leave's the back four alone and concentrates on the front 6 then we could finally break top 4 imo, We maybe just need another forward and winger, and maybe midfielder to replace Felli if he does go. With what we have already i think we might surprise people, i must admit i would like to see us playing it across the ground on a regular basis.
  4. I didn't want Hughes either but i hardly think the options we are looking at are really that much better imo. Martinez's record is fucking awful we shouldn't even be looking at him, Pereira is a coach, rather than a manager, and some of the other names linked to the job are just laughable. The only name linked so far with a suitable record/career has been FSW ffs!! Bill 'count-the-pennies' Kenwright has a lot to answer for imo Very frustrating times at the moment, especially with the badge thing as well, i just hope to god Kenwright backs the new man otherwise i really do fear the worst, we are an aging squad who need some sorting out.
  5. Some suggestions on the radio this morning that it might not be Martinez(despite an interview) and BK is still very open minded about the position.
  6. hahaha, i changed my username, it was Prisoner, ive been on/off this forum for a good few years now lol
  7. In all honesty Av, something in the back of my mind makes me think he would actually do quite well here. He certainly wouldn't fold over in the derby games like we did under Moyes at times. At the same time i really don't like the man, i just know i wouldn't want him as manager. As for Martinez, im interested to see how we would approach things tactically under him: 3-4-3, 3-5-2, 4-3-3 ? Im not convinced we have the individuals to play three at the back and i don't see the point in him breaking up an already successful back four, im interested to see what he or any manager gets with regards to transfer funds, and the first job for any new man is sort out whats going on with Fellaini,
  8. Kenwright said his thoughts were not 'a million miles away from the fans' Well if he appoints that muppet Lennon then clearly there not a million miles, there a million and one!!
  9. I don't want any of them tbh, Even McCarthy who i rate, well not at at the £15m quoted there anyway, we could get better for that sort of money.

  11. He's not who i wanted, but i will back him like Romey says, until he gives us a reason not too, lets see how much Kenwright let's him spend and on who and how we start next season.
  12. Martinez is meeting with Whelan at 1pm today according to talkshite this morning, i got a feeling he might stay with Wigan.
  13. Yeah defo mate, ive seen a fair bit of the championship this season, and out of the 3 CP have the weakest squad, but Hull play the worst football. All the teams that have come up have reasonable amounts of backing behind them though.
  14. Agreed, i wasn't keen on Watford coming up with all those loans, thats a crazy way to do things, although Foresteri(not sure if thats right) seen him a few times this season and does look a decent player, i think he is one of the only non loanees. Well done to Palace though, much the better team yesterday, and Holloway knows roughly whats needed to stay in the league. I have to say though im not a massive fan of Zaha, he's all a bit of a non event for me, anyway Moyes will soon have his legs tied together with a piece of rope, screaming in his ear " I want non of that dribbling nonsense here laddy, cut it out) Well done to Palace, and Cardiff and Hull

  16. Not being funny but we do have a small time mentality that hovers round the club at times. Just look at the recent manager talk. Now Mark you know your stuff, none of the names listed have and are really who we should be looking at. Our outgoing manager has gone to the biggest club in the world. Our shortlist has the same names as the Stoke City one. The twitter business yesterday. It's a never ending cycle of incompetence at times imo.
  17. Lets be honest now, Dunc would need to be friendly towards the press, able to stay calm for 90+mins, and willing to step forward into the limelight a bit more, These are all things he has struggled hugely with in the past so why now? not for me, leave him on the coaching staff.
  18. His people came to us saying he wanted the job, what im worried about is if we take too long we will miss our chance, if he is good enough for Inter, is he not for us?
  19. Some Talk on twitter linking Pereira with Inter, i hope we don't miss out because of dithering.
  20. Irvine has been assistant before though don't forget, although if memory serves me correct i think he said he prefers coaching the youth players. Redknapp is hopefully only a wildcard Av, and just today's big name move. I can only think of the horrors if he took charge.
  21. Redknapp 2nd favorite? Where has that come from then, i really don't see Harry as a Kenwright type appointment imo
  22. Lennon far too short in the odds for my liking. http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/everton/next-permanent-manager
  23. Possibly, Spanish league still has a couple of weeks i think, hence why City have not announced Pellegrini as of yet.
  24. Friend who is a big Man U fan told me, he reckons thats whats going about anyway. Edit: Just looking, and i notice it get's a mention in the Moyes thread on GOT, Id like to have seen Neville stay as assistant tbh, just not Manager.
