I agree with you on Fellaini, i actually think he will still be here next season, he was quite poor after Christmas, and im not sure he's as in demand as the papers will have us all believe, the big teams are starting to make their signings, and like you said so far no one has bid for him. Pienaar was gash last season though, His partnership with Baines looked like it has been sussed out by every team in the league now, and im not sure what else Pienaar has to offer, we really should be looking at some sort of left winger imo. As for Osman, i just really don't see him anymore than a bench player now.

As much as i have a few issues with our defenders as individuals, as a unit im not going to deny they have proven to be a good one under Moyes. So it does concern me slightly the fact that Martinez tends to play with 3 at the back, i think he would be mad to come in and break up the back four at the moment, which ultimately leads me on to the prospect of us lining up 4-3-3? Howard Coleman,Jags,Distin,Baines Gibson,Barkley, ? Mirallas,Jelavic, ? I guess something like that, im just not convinced about 3 at the back with our current playing squad. How people think we will lineup? do you think Martinez will break up the defence or not?

id like Loic Remy(think he has a get out clause for £8m?) Will Hughes in midfield, i reckon we could get him for less than £10m, and Vermaelen at £5m, all would be less than the cost of Fellaini's release clause(providing he goes that is)

Really, do you not think if Martinez starts to lose a few then Fellaini will start moaning again? he just seems to be that sort imo, but i don't honestly see what his problem is, he doesn't seem to realise he is at a TOP club, the best he will get at Chelsea or United is squad rotation, and the talk down here is that Arsenal don't think he is worth the £22/£24/£26m

It will all come down to how Martinez lines the team up tbh. Id just like to see him get a chance of a run in the team ahead of Heitinga and (potentially) Alcaraz,, people are also forgetting about Stones and the fact that Martinez is a big fan and tried to take him to the DW. Yes we do need numbers Av, but imo those numbers are in other areas until Heitinga actually leaves or stops whinging. Bringing in another 30 year old defender is not my idea of 'A new way forward'

He's very highly rated by other clubs and managers by all accounts so could probably go somewhere else and get a first team spot. Also, what are the alternatives? a want-away dutch CB who is either solid or just bloody awful, hoofball Jags, an aging Distin or it seems an injury prone Paraguayan CB who has just been relegated and is also not really the age we want to be looking at.

In all honesty the Fellaini will he/won't he has just become a farce, I wish we would just sort it out once and for all.

Don't think he's played for the first team but he has certainly been called into the senior squad in the past, he deserves his chance imo if not then sell him

I find this hard to believe. Not only has he had a few games and looked more than capable, but he has been involved for his country at senior level now, so we can't honestly expect him to go on loan again. Trapattoni has been in the game long enough to know a good player from a shit one, that's good enough for me tbh.

Duffy has been involved for his country at senior level, he's not going to go on loan or sit on the bench for much longer. He probably see's it as a new manager means an opportunity to get a run in the first team.
