He did, he sounded gutted tbh. Austin is highly rated and they were saying he will end up in the England team at some point, he has scored goals wherever he has played. Im not sure i fancy Benteke's chances against Lambert, players who have taken him on in the past usually end up in the reserves.

This has been floating round for a few days now, not really sure what to think. If we are struggling for funds and the player is hardly a first name and is known for getting a fair bit of stick from the fans. Maybe Martinez rejected bids because they just were not enough(whats enough for Naismith?) but this could get a bit tasty if Martinez is not careful, he could quite easily get himself off on the wrong foot here.
