Why are you all so worried? we finished 6th and gained a position in europe for next season, WHU only just survived.any player who wanted to still join them, would only be doing so for money, and would you really want that player at the club? i know i would'nt.

i'dont know, it was something i read yesterday, my point was that i think there are cheaper and better options than Nugent. (I'm fully aware that the chance's of us signing Saviola are pretty slim)

i disagree with Nugent, he's a good player but with players like Saviola being touted about for 7m to spend 6-10m on Nugent is just barmy, it shows that there are better players out there on the continent for the same or less money.

i'm starting to think there is something in this, when it appears in one paper it can be put down to the rumour mill, but when it's in a few there is usually some substance behind the story, if 18m is the quoted offer then that is a huge profit, we should take an offer like that, cash for manny anyone?

I don't get the what the big fuss is all about, Koumas looks ok to me, he can play anywhere in midfield and is 2 footed, we only have Arteta who is like that at the moment.

I agree, this is why Moyes irritates the fans sometimes because he keeps things so quiet, people never know whats going on, i imagine after him saying that the team will need a " few numbers " at the end of the season because of qualifing for europe then i think he probably is working on things now, the market is getting quite busy allready.

yeh, surely the priority is a left winger more than a central player although we could do with one more.

it's been a good season, better than most of us expected. a few strong signings and we should be able to hold our own next season on both fronts. bring on the transfer window.

This is why I think it is more of a status thing with Kenwright, he knows as well as the fans that he does not have the back up or resources to run a top flight club. The club must have had enquiries about it's future from interested parties, and if not, then you have to ask why? could it be that the debt is £50m+ and not the rumoured £30m or could it be something more heavy than that. but it does seem odd that we seem to be the club no one wants to invest in.
