  1. You know if the numbers keep growing at the current rate, the English element of Toffeetalk will be outnumbered by us foreigners ;-) ...
  2. "Sky Sports understands that Sevilla have no intention of selling star striker Alvaro Negredo on transfer deadline day." Well... Are we bringing nobody in?
  3. 3 points is a must here. A young team with probably the worst form in the league at home. A must win game.
  4. Why would an English club pay another English club in Euros? Unless the media is just saying the offer is valued at 31 million Euros.
  5. Sporting Lisbon selling half their team? Let's try to get Eric Dier on a permanent deal for cheap. Wonder if he'd want to come back. He looks a talent but left here due to a lack of first team opportunities.
  6. Everton boss David Moyes could not hide his disappointment at losing out on Leroy Fer despite Wednesday's win over West Brom. "Yes, it was disappointing," the Scot told Sky Sports. "I'm disappointed for the boy and I'm disappointed for our players because they're looking for me to add one or two new faces." Does that mean we're not bringing anybody in?
  7. I would argue that I'm not sure I want to dish out 10m for a player whose sell on value will likely be much less than what we payed for him due to his age (27)
  8. I'd take this guy for 500k-1m to bolster our defense. We don't need a new starting 11 player for our defense. I'd take this guy and go buy a quality midfielder or another striker.
  9. Who would be paying Kaka's wages lmao?
  10. Can't believe Osman there. What a choke. He can't finish for shit.
  11. Heitinga. Damn it you thickheaded moron.
  12. Some people said we got a steal at 8.5m, and some said he wasn't worth it. Real mixed opinions on him.
  13. Funny because about midway last season, commentators in a match made a comment that he was the only manager to use all three subs in all league matches.
  14. Bold move to drop Jelavic, but form indicates it's the right move. Moyes better be 100% sure Mirallas is fit to do 90 minutes, because I still wouldn't mind leaving him out longer to afford further injury, even though he does wonders for our team. I'd rather see Neville at Rightback and Hitzlsperger in midfield to be honest.
  15. Don't think we have the money for a big name, proven striker.
  16. Those two things appeared to me immediately. We probably can't afford a young striker of any notoriety... I'd take a punt on him if it's a loan deal. He's experienced and Moyes generally knows what he's doing. At least we could loan out Tolis and get him some games.
  17. Borussia Monchengladbach Striker. Not sure if there's any truth, or if we're going to be linked with any and every Belgian player from now on. http://www.rtbf.be/s...rton?id=7916286 *edit* His name is actually Igor de Camargo
  18. The summer break will do him well...
  19. Heat of the moment comment mate. Isn't Rodwell still having hamstring problems at Manchester City? This has to have been going on for a year and a half-two years for him... Makes me worry that Mirallas will never shake off this hamstring problem.
  20. Frustration mate... But he's reinjured his hamstring twice. Not a good sign.
  21. Mirallas is damaged goods. Enough said. Talented player who will never maintain consistent fitness. 6 million pounds wasted.
  22. That's because we aren't located in London, aren't wearing red shirts, and don't have a billionaire owner. The media could give fuck all about us! ;-)
  23. Hopefully that will give the lads a boost in form, morale, and motivation. We could use one right now. I just hope we can somehow get Jelavic back into semi-decent form, and get Gibbo and MIrallas healthy, and keep them healthy.
