"Sky Sports understands that Sevilla have no intention of selling star striker Alvaro Negredo on transfer deadline day."
Well... Are we bringing nobody in?
Sporting Lisbon selling half their team? Let's try to get Eric Dier on a permanent deal for cheap. Wonder if he'd want to come back. He looks a talent but left here due to a lack of first team opportunities.
Everton boss David Moyes could not hide his disappointment at losing out on Leroy Fer despite Wednesday's win over West Brom. "Yes, it was disappointing," the Scot told Sky Sports. "I'm disappointed for the boy and I'm disappointed for our players because they're looking for me to add one or two new faces."
Does that mean we're not bringing anybody in?
I would argue that I'm not sure I want to dish out 10m for a player whose sell on value will likely be much less than what we payed for him due to his age (27)
I'd take this guy for 500k-1m to bolster our defense. We don't need a new starting 11 player for our defense. I'd take this guy and go buy a quality midfielder or another striker.
Funny because about midway last season, commentators in a match made a comment that he was the only manager to use all three subs in all league matches.
Bold move to drop Jelavic, but form indicates it's the right move. Moyes better be 100% sure Mirallas is fit to do 90 minutes, because I still wouldn't mind leaving him out longer to afford further injury, even though he does wonders for our team. I'd rather see Neville at Rightback and Hitzlsperger in midfield to be honest.
Those two things appeared to me immediately. We probably can't afford a young striker of any notoriety... I'd take a punt on him if it's a loan deal. He's experienced and Moyes generally knows what he's doing. At least we could loan out Tolis and get him some games.
Borussia Monchengladbach Striker. Not sure if there's any truth, or if we're going to be linked with any and every Belgian player from now on.

*edit* His name is actually Igor de Camargo
Heat of the moment comment mate. Isn't Rodwell still having hamstring problems at Manchester City? This has to have been going on for a year and a half-two years for him... Makes me worry that Mirallas will never shake off this hamstring problem.
Hopefully that will give the lads a boost in form, morale, and motivation. We could use one right now. I just hope we can somehow get Jelavic back into semi-decent form, and get Gibbo and MIrallas healthy, and keep them healthy.
