Gibson was stupid to drive a car, but I seriously don't see the ill in his behavior unless he is getting pissed regularly. Read all reports, Stones, Barkley, several other Everton players were there.

Maybe he's highly raw but shows some real potential and we picked him up given how cheap he was (under the radar?)?

What'st he deal with him? I hear he looked 1. Totally uncomfortable defending 2. Not match fit at all and 3. like he has lost all his pace possibly due to permanent damage from injuries .... What are everyones' thoughts on this? Is he just not match fit, or is he not going to be the player he was pre-injury in 2013/2014?

We're not going to bring in a world class keeper that keeps a clean sheet. Everton couldn't attract one of the top 10-15 keepers in the world. Secondly, I'm not sure we could attract someone much better than Howard. I think whoever we'd bring in would probably make the same sorts of howlers that Howard does.

So Courtois and De Gea keep a clean sheet today, but no other Premier League keeper would. Don't go spouting that Tim Krul or Begovic are world class keepers and that Howard is no better than Iain Turner or Dick Wright.

You all watch, this third signing will be a 20 year old goalkeeper that is "one for the future". Kidding. On a serious note, I have no idea why Rodriguez is signing unless he truly shows great potential for the future. Naismith is a guy who can play up top and give us hustle and workrate but not a ton of end product. Add to that, Kone has shown glimpses of being decent. Today he made several poor mistakes, but also did some positive things and he's clearly working hard to try to win over the fans and prove himself. If we're going to sign a striker, it might as well be someone of half decent quality who offers us something different from what we already have.

He also has an Italian passport according to some. Also, I must say that he is the most underwhelming signing of all time.

First goal was both poor defending with Howard also showing poor keeping. Second goal was again poor defending. Some of our defenders had some really sloppy moments today and Howard bailed them out in some of those moments. I honestly think that some on here are just going to blame the goalkeeper regardless, so I don't pay attention to them.

This. If we put in the effort we did today then we should get a result from a struggling Spurs team or a struggling Chelsea.

I agree. I just can't get over it. Darron Gibson is to our midfield what Alfa Romeo's are to the former Top Gear cast and petrolheads around the world. It's brilliant when it works, but unfortunately that's far too rare.... Gibson is the band that made one great album and then broke up. Lads, I think I'm heartbroken.

Being linked with him. I'd be surprised if we brought him in because I believe he is plays the exact position as Barry and I presume is on a pretty big wage.
