  1. We'd have needed to pay 50-60m pounds to get him along with any other English club.
  2. We all know that Hafnia is actually Dirk Kuyt just trolling us,
  3. Anybody seen the tackle by Watford's Britos? Wow, he should be charged with assault!
  4. Obviously being on the wrong side of the pond isolates me from a lot of fan groups bar social media, but it does seem that West Ham and Newcastle take the prize for having deluded fan bases. I think people love the quotable, guitar playing, cigarette smoking man that is Bilic, but I don't think he's cut out to manage in a top league. Probably belongs managing one of the big clubs in Turkey, Portugal, Greece, etc.
  5. Funny you say that, because there were many shouts of trying to bring in Bilic while he was still managing Croatia and De Boer was arguably one of the most popular names for us to get after Martinez. Would be shocking to see West Ham go given their move into the new stadium and "more ambitious" attitude
  6. West Ham* and Palace are certainly making the early case for their respective relegations. Wow, both sides have shown nothing so far this season. *Edit* Romey - glad you saw I meant West Ham and not Newcastle haha.
  7. This might be a dumb question, but are Atletico going to pay him that?
  8. Think Niasse would be a good addition for Cardiff, but how often do $$$ + a player deals happen relative to how often they're rumored.
  9. He's an absolute top striker. We need one of those. He can be an arse and plays with an edge - As long as he's not diving left and right and keeps his antics to a minimum, he's welcome.
  10. Much rather face quality sides than have to travel to Moldova and Siberia to face 11 grafters/hard men with a bunch of opposition fans that behave like thugs. Lyon is a historically great team in France and who wouldn't get excited for a trip to Italy and Cyprus? Great day to be an Evertonian, in my opinion!
  11. Robert Madley maybe should spend some time in the football league before trying to referee this level again.
  12. The fact that we led 1-0 for so long hides the fact that I don't think this was a good performance at all.
  13. Horseshit. That's what happens when you're a man up but still park the bus. Unbelievable.
  14. Don't get why we are letting them have so much of the ball with an extra man, but I guess it will open up even more space on the counter.
  15. Thought that was very harsh second yellow on Walker.
  16. Maybe as a 4th choice centerback/squad player? Or not even?
  17. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/08/20/do-everton-sending-tyias-browning-to-sunderland-already-looks-a/ Wonder if he's found his level or if a year of regular Championship football will allow him to push on with us. There is definitely room at the back for youngsters to make their way into becoming first team regulars. Jagielka and Williams each have to be in the twilight years of their careers.
  18. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/jose-baxter-taken-face-value-13500183 Good to hear. Don't think he's holding back anyone worth developing. Hope he doesn't screw up his third chance.
  19. Glad he's on loan and not sitting on the bench here. Can we bring him back in January? Could be useful if we're still in Europa and to try to make an FA Cup run if we've seen some injury attrition. Then again, he needs to spend this year playing and then we can reevaluate his future here.
  20. I think we should consider bringing Endor Valencia back on loan again.
  21. Of the newly promoted teams, I think Newcastle will be fine, but Huddersfield will be near the danger zone and I'm not sure about Brighton (they could be near bottom or close to Newcastle). I don't really think Burnley have added much, so with some injuries/poor luck, they could definitely go down, but Dyche knows how to get them organized and play well. I think Swansea and Palace are in serious danger. West Ham, Watford, and West Brom definitely aren't a gaurantee to stay up. My bottom three though: Huddersfield Swansea Burnley
