Has the reputation of signing players for the fourth time at his fourth club. If a youngster is good enough, think he'll give them a chance though.

I think we're all a bit disappointed tonight. Moshiri has made things happen - new signings, progress on the stadium, etc... You can't turn a midtable side into a surefire top four club overnight. When have we ever signed 9 players in a transfer window?

At the very least, he should be on the bench for some Europa League and Cup matches. Let him fight for a place.

Welcome to the board. I think Sandro is a #9 and we viewed it as such at the time, but its obvious that he isn't a target man #9. Not someone you knock long balls up to. Now that we've realized it will take him, DCL, Rooney, the rest time to adjust, we are panicking. I think we'll be fine. Give our plan more time to develop. Some of these kids should hopefully grow into quality first team players and either a #9 will emerge within the squad or we'll buy one in the next 12 months. We are a work in progress.

Brought a ton of players in, all the senior players look like they could have a great impact and then a few for the future. Shame we are without a proven number 9 at the moment.

Would be a good signing for them. Would rather keep him for Europa and Cup games. Also one of the few pacey players we have.

Gone to Crewe Alexandra on loan. His stock has really dropped. Hopefully he will be way above everyone else in League 2 and be able to jump up a division or two like Hope Akpan.

Surprised we haven't heard about a deal to move him out the door. Wonder if something is happening behind the scenes and not being talked about in the papers due to more important striker/Barkley rumors or if all has gone quiet. I would prefer three senior keepers in the squad, but think Robles needs to go and we should sign an "emergency" keeper. Maybe a loan deal is right for him?

So after two years on the Chelsea bench and missing the world cup, does Barkley end up at Southampton, West Ham, Leicester, or Newcastle? Or does he go abroad?

I like that player a lot, but I think we have enough central midfielders with a defensive mindset. Think we want a pure defender.

Make that ten years. Getting absolute sick of the toxicity here and this forum has enough characters. OH boo hoo, we've spent a few quid (while the teams up the table have still spent more) and now only get 1 point from the two best teams in the country in a run of 4 matches in 11 days. Too negative? Yeah, let's see what you'd be saying if we set up in an open manner and then got thrashed 6-1. I'm sure everyone would be praising the manager for his willing to "have a go" and "fearless attitude"... Oh wait, no one would. We've brought in some proper quality this summer and have European football to look forward to, but yeah, let's just be negative for the hell of it and bicker as usual because we haven't been able to gel all of the new players into a cohesive 11 just yet. On a serious note, we need to bring in a proper number nine as well as another centerback before this window ends and that's crucial. We can't play with a back 3 because Jagielka and Williams aren't mobile enough and also not good enough on the ball/with distribution. This also ignores the fact that we don't have proper wingbacks at the moment - Best case would be to de-age Baines by three years and perform Wiccan healing on Coleman's leg so he's back at the end of the international break. The problem wouldn't go away with traditional fullbacks and wingers because we don't have much pace out wide still, but the overlapping runs would create a threat that the current wingback system doesn't. How's that for a rant? Finally, With regards for disappeared members, how about everyone's favorite Belgian Culture Advocate, Mirallas. Pretty sure that fellow was paid for by the tourist board of Antwerp. Every post led back to the Motherland.

Don't rule out Pulis. Not sure we can afford his 500k contract buyout from West Brom though!
