  1. Now West Ham United's manager. Wish him all the best, except against us.
  2. Call every club in China and tell them to offer him 250k per week. Please God.
  3. Not us, but a bigger club needs to take a punt on Gary Rowett if he continues to have success Derby County. Did well at Birmingham City.
  4. Let him go for a free then. Lookman is showing everything bar maybe end product, Lennon can be a stopgap, then let's buy a proper winger (one in January and one next summer and let Lennon leave)
  5. Madness that we apparently only paid 6m pounds for Mirallas. Honestly would let him go for a minimal fee.
  6. Madness. Our manager could be Unsworth or Allardyce or Simeone. Baffling. However, it does show you how far apart the two board factions are. Bill wants Unsworth while Moshiri wants Simeone
  7. Find him a consistent partner to his left, make sure the midfielders and wingers provide him assistance defending, and he will continue to improve. Very impressed with him.
  8. Sam Allardyce- Long time manager of small clubs who get safe, but limited results playing an ugly style of long ball. Has he peaked as a manager? Absolutely Eddie Howe- Young, up and coming English manager who has gotten solid results with Bournemouth (Although they look in trouble this year) and has gotten his players to play an attacking, attractive style of soccer with decent results despite being at a small club with journeyman players Sean Dyche- Young, up and coming English manager who knows how to organize a side and has done well at a very small club. Seriously, why would we ever sign Allardyce over Dyche or Howe, much less some of the more well renowned managers.
  9. Certainly doesn't flatter the players but we know Mirallas has been a perpetual whiner and Schneiderlin has seemed to have a poor attitude lately. I've had my concerns about Duncan being on the staff though. Too combustible.
  10. I change my mind. I can't stand the thought of Allardyce managing us.
  11. Thought about him a lot but I think he may never be the player he once was now due to injuries.
  12. My feelings: If he's appointed until the end of the season, I will have a "meh" feeling - disappointing because it will feel like we're throwing in the towel for the season in terms of accomplishing anything beyond finishing 10th, but he would likely steer us clear of relegation, and we've actually looked relegation quality at times. If he's appointed on a multi-year contract, I'm switching allegiances to Forest Green Rovers.
  13. Sky published an article saying we've entered talks with Allardyce for him to manage us until the end of the season. Mixed feelings, He'd likely keep us safe, but absolutely would never want him/be against this appointment if his contract ran beyond end of season
  14. Everyone uses available tax loopholes and credits to minimize their tax bill because much to the shock of many, being rich doesn't make you like paying tax
  15. My point still stands. Respectable clubs don't sell players after six months. This isn't non-league.
  16. Schneiderlin played two seasons in the Championship and two in League 1 with Southampton, there was once fight in him at least. Wonder if it'll return.
  17. Unreasonable to sell Klaassen after six months
  18. Mirallas is one of the few players willing to take a shot on goal for us and be direct. Extremely inconsistent but he has his place.
  19. Crazy, since I started supporting the club in 2010, we've always had a slew of quality defenders at the back.
  20. At least 8 minutes of stoppage time coming, I think.
  21. Swear that was changed because it was always stupid double punishment (Man down plus penalty)
  22. DIdn't that rule get changed to where a professional foul in the box is a penalty + a yellow instead of a penalty + a red?
