  1. We can't. He's not registered for the premier league squad.
  2. Last summer: "Walsh is the lad who signed Kante. Get in!" Now: "Walsh is buddies with Allardyce! Sack him!" Honestly, not surprised to see him bring in scouts from Leicester or places he's worked in the past. Anyone hired to build an organization or when tasked with filling a position will look to names he knows/has worked with in the past. As for any scouts ability, don't think any of us know enough to make an informed judgment.
  3. Like him a lot but don't suspect he'd move before next summer
  4. This is the one huge upside to Allardyce. If we picked Dyche or Howe or Silva, we'd basically be committing to them long term with them. In the summer, assuming we are sorted and willing to back a new man, a much wider range of managers will be available and interested.
  5. Surely him putting his people in charge of the academy and youth teams is nonsensical and shouldn't be tied to the senior team, especially if its a short term man at the top.
  6. I thought I was the only one here who questioned Dunc's usefulness as a first team coach?
  7. You can go back and have a look at my posts from the summer if you want. I actually would be delighted with Silva, Dyche or Howe. Would understand Big Sam and get behind him.
  8. This. Though I would be very interested to hear if we contacted Dyche or Howe.
  9. Can you confirm to me that you're still indeed tall?
  10. Twitter rumors that it's going to be a shock appointment of Joao Moutinho as player manager
  11. Would you rather drown in Steven Gerrard's bathtub or let Robbie Fowler kick you in the nads?
  12. Yeah, but a horribly inbalanced squad and with the TV Money, every PL team has money and breaking down the top six will prove very difficult for any team. Tuchel and Ancelotti are waiting for one of those jobs to open up. Remember when I mentioned that our revenue is closer to Bournemouth than it is to Spurs? We went after Silva, who appears would've been a great signing but were told off. No idea if we enquired about Dyche or Howe (No idea why we wouldn't.....). Ancelotti, Tuchel are unrealistic. Every other name is either out of left field (Rangick, Benfica manager), unproven (Think Championship managers, Unsworth), or an old and tired name (Moyes, Big Sam, Pulis, Pardew). Not sure where to put AVB.
  13. Think he's a good one with a bright future. I will make the point that he is real young and not peaked yet and we are in a bad way.
  14. Offer Celtic a gazillion pounds for Moussa Dembele, get Batshuayi on loan. Then get Shaw from Man U or Tierney from Celtic as well. Find a centerback or two.
  15. He's not retired. Player manager at Notts County, so he's match fit.
  16. I just can't believe Tuchel, Ancelotti, others weren't desperate for the job. Yeah, we don't have any strikers or defenders and look like relegation fodder, but who isn't desperate to manage in the PL and we have a great history.
  17. You'd be more devastated with Nigel Adkins managing us in League 1 in two years. Shame we couldn't get Silva - maybe he'll be available in the summer.
  18. I want Unsworth to win every game he's on the sideline for us, but I didn't and don't think he's the right man.
  19. I'd rather Silva, or even Dyche or Howe, but if Allardyce is what we need to stabilize us, then I will back the new manager 100%. Going down would erase all the positives Moshiri has brought (besides the disastrously assembled squad)
