  1. If he's ready to give up on his go here after 6 months, he will never be the player he's rated to be. He needs to give it 12 more months.
  2. And we Evertonians like to feel bad for ourselves... Wouldn't be a terrible move if it was a contract until the end of the season, but I'd be fuming as a Stoke fan if it was any longer. On another positive, that turd Pardew has yet to get West Brom playing...
  3. Was curious how this would go - After three successive debacles, I was curious if he was a relic who wasn't fit to manage anymore. I had always known that his biggest problem was his decision making in picking jobs... Man U was too big for him and especially bad replacing SAF... He was a square peg in a round hole at Real Sociedad - not knowing anything about the language, culture, and La Liga. And then Sunderland.... A dumpster fire of a club.
  4. My bad - realized I was quoting you to begin with so you weren't just knocking Stoke out of the blue, but rather responding to me - apologies. On a serious note, I would be eager to see who they appoint given that they are one of the primary offenders who would look to appoint one of the same old names. To your point, yeah, they are a largely indistinguishable club who've done nothing other than consolidate themselves as a Premier League regular who will finish 9th-14th whose biggest accomplishment was a cup final.
  5. There was a lot of venom in your statement for supposedly not caring.
  6. Who would Stoke appoint? The only British merry go round manager left available is Pulis, and obviously they aren't bringing him back. They'd have to appoint a Championship manager or someone from abroad or some relic.
  7. Huddersfield beating Watford... Marco Silva's men trending downwards.
  8. Played 45 minutes for the U23's. He needs to show some sustained fitness to warrant staying with the team beyond next summer. We'll probably have to let him go real cheap given his injury record and the risk associate with signing him. Very decent player when fit. Shame it's come to this.
  9. That is a hell of an analogy. A TT classic, in my opinion. You win.
  10. Thank you to twelve Tory MPs and the other sensible members of Parliament.
  11. 10 points from 12. Is it too early to talk about Champions League?
  12. Shelvey dismissed before its all said and done. Brilliant.
  13. If you had told me that we'd elect Donald Trump to the Presidency and a Democrat to the Senate from Alabama a few years ago.... I would've lost everything on a bet.
  14. This. It's not like the players are going to be in training instead of at the event and hell, they could go out on their own. A bit ridiculous and symbolic if you ask me.
  15. Only in my wildest dreams. I'd fly to Manchester and carry him piggyback back to Merseyside if he would return.
  16. That is the most bizarre player reference I've ever heard.
  17. Puzzling to play him given our tactical set up today. Only reason I can think to play him is his ability to create a goal out of nothing with his right peg and for set piece delivery....
  18. Disappointed in how little we showed going forward but letting them have the majority of the possession only makes sense. They are most dangerous when countering and we didn't give them opportunities on the break.
  19. It would appear we've also spent a ton of money on bang average youth. Bet we've bought 10+ players 24 or younger since Koeman arrived (see my list)
