Well said Mike! Just a thought, couldnt the FA step in here and come up with a similar rule for ownership as they do with player transfer (max 2 clubs per season for a player). Surely that would help put a stop to this nonsense? At least make it more difficult for idiot business investors to just take a fancy to club, buy it then drop it when they get bored. I do feel sorry for Pompey. Hopefully this will happen the Kopites when the yanks get bored of it and they fall and crumble, i will be less sympathetic then!

you have to take into account the current market! 6 million is nearly what we paid for Distin, you going to pay the same Pienaar? Come on, anything less than 15, despite the contract situation, is stupid. Putting on a not-fit Arteta to join 3 other AMs and to replace the only DM on the midfieldwas a stupid decision. We needed Neville at DM to keep the shape that has proven so effective recently. If you dont put Pip there, move Johnny up though Neville and Distin isnt a nice prospect in the centre of defence. Mark is right Moyes makes some very strange decisions when it comes to tactics. I know why he put Arteta on, he thought the Talisman effect would win him the game but it wasnt the game for another creative player in the middle, it was a game for someone who can kick seven shades out of the opposition. Then he puts on the 2 laziest players we have on for the last 2 minutes. Strange decisions...

Id go with most of that Mark, especially the sub decision, Coleman was clearly the obvious choice to give a similar shape after Screech went off (who was lucky not to be red carded too). The goal was soft, but in my opinion Howard is to blame, he shouldve come for it. Ok, Pip was brushed aside far too easily but the keeper should be collecting them all day long. Peanuts shouldve gone too (though the 2nd yellow was pathetic, that was the ref making up for bottling the red card earlier). i agree, i only meant that upfront its really only Saha or Yak, which isnt really a choice (im not counting Vaughen or Agard as theyre too inexperienced and Anichbe was never a favourite of mine). At least the midfield there is choice! Even at RB theres competition!

Not sure his headache is going to be upfront, its clear cut to me. Its the midfield he is giong to struggle with when Arteta and Rodwell are back (IF Peanuts stays)...

Transfer funds normally would be based on our tour in Europe and selling of a big player (I dont see Davey selling anyone, willingly at least). So we have to wait. Ledley, dont know enough about him apart from the rumours and didnt we just agree a contract for a new keeper? All in all though, apart from another striker i dont see what position we would need to fill, provided we dont get hit with injuries like we did this and last season!
