Duno about anyone else but i'm completely fed up with people coming on this forum or other forums an saying . its a done deal...its a loads of bollacks, an its all we heard since the cup final. If it was a done deal, as ppl keep saying, why is Lescott still an Everton player, why hasn't he had talks or a medical at City, why is he at our training camp in Scotland. I can't think of a reason they would hold off on annoucing it, Moyes would be desperate to get the extra 12 mil in to spend it on players, as we all know you have a better start to the season if all players are in early. Also he would want the player/players at the training camp already. I no Jo is there but i believe that is a season long loan(this is my opinion an not a fabricated one of someone told me at goodison or city) an not part of the Lescott deal(if there is one, which i doubt)

Lescotts as good as terry easy, lescotts faster an better in the air, the only reason Terry gets in the england team is cos he captain, an we all no Terry is only the captain to keep them southerns happy, it should be Gerrard. i think Pennant would be a good signing, he got pace and can cross, people say he got an attitude, but if you look at when u play for Liverpool, up 2 the last 10 games of last season, it didnt matter if you scored 50 goals in a game you still get dropped next week. I think a player like Pennant, who lacks confidance needs a bit of stability an at Liverpool he didn't get that, because Rafa doesnt seem to go off what everyone else does an play his best team. As for Portsmouth i dont see alot of them so can't comment. I think Davey will turn him in to a world class player, he just needs someone to beleive in him.
