I agree .. I love Pienaar as a player but his drunken driving and "god is great" antics has resulted in me not being overly attached to him. Just a bit more than 13 million and I wouldn't mind Moyes pulling the trigger.

What a game at Emirates. Arsenal were thoroughly outplayed but still managed to get a draw. Great result for them, still having something to play for in Barcelona. Barca have got themselves to blame, should have finished their chances.

He lit up the Russian league but then again so did Jo ... I still have faith though. He's got undeniable skill and I hope all he needs is an offseason of rest and a decent preseason. Eventually he'll play in the position that he played in Russia (which was left wing?), just like Fellaini moved to the position he held at Standard. If he comes good, Pienaar can move to the right and the winger problem is solved. Moyes thinking five steps ahead!

Wouldn't call him player of the season. For me right now that's a toss up between Pienaar and Fellaini. Johnny has been probably been the best player of the second half of the season but Arteta should get a mention there as well. He is perfect for the PL though. Always liked him at Ajax, lost track of him when he was in Spain, but now definitely one of my favorite players.

Off topic : I was just curious. Whenever you say your source is the Sun you warn everybody that the contents of the article might be wrong. Isn't the telegraph just as questionable? I've read some articles in there that were just factually wrong (gerald warner to name one journalist who doesn't know what he's talking about) and extremely populist. On topic : I think he has a shot at playing for Spain and if he believes that too he'll never go for British citizenship. I don't find Xavi all that impressive to be honest. If I were in charge of the Spanish national team I'd have Iniesta and Arteta running my midfield.

Yeah I don't understand why they don't allow everyone to watch their online content. Channels without advertising that I get on my TV without "paying" for it : BBC 1 + 2 + HD, France 2 + 3 + 5, ZDF and WDR (whichever of the two is the public broadcasting one), and all the Dutch channels. If all of a sudden I'd get a bill from the BBC I wouldn't pay it though .. Only thing I watch is Match of the Day and QI XL.
