i don't think we have much of a chance of going to EURO 2012. Getting a draw in Azerbaijan by letting them score in the last minute, missing a penalty at home in the last minute against turkey that would have given us the win .. we should have qualified already but now we have to beat Germany to do it. Turkey are an inferior team to us, would be a shame not to have Belgium at the European Championship :s.

6m is absolutely ridiculous. there's only a couple of explanations i can think of ... one is Steve's analysis of D'Onofrio shady business .. second is that his injury history is a major concern for any team that wanted to sign him.. third that it was misreporterd : Porto bought two players from Standard - defour and mangela - and received 13m for the pair .. maybe it was 12 for defour (still low) and 1m for mangela . There was an offer from Spartak Moscow a few weeks ago, must have been at least double what Porto offered..
