  1. What a strike for the 2nd. Nice strength and change of pace for the 3rd too. Wonder if he's mates with Mcgeady? Have a word Aiden.
  2. I'd be happy if we could sweep this one up. Bristling with excitement.
  3. M'baye Niang been told that he can leave Milan as they have not got European football next season. West Ham already apparently tried to get him on loan.
  4. Stoke are favourites with Skybet at 2:1. We're 16:1 behind Liverpool at 12:1
  5. First Son - 13, Romantic, Sensible and Cassanova-like womaniser. Romeo Second Son - 10, Energetic, Spontaneous and a complete firecracker....may become a musician. Billy Third Son - 7, Loud, Spunky and will be the cock-sure athlete of the family. Moses Fourth Son - 5, Intelligent, Different and most like to succeed in business. Duncan Fifth Son - 2, Quiet, Shy and is a proper teachers pet. Martin Sixth Son - 1, Unique, Daydreamer and has his head in the clouds....will like art and probably explore his sexuality. George
  6. Brazil 3(1) Croatia 1(0) Mexico 1(1) Cameroon 1(0) Spain 4(2) Netherlands 2(0) Chile 3x(2) Australia 1(1) Colombia 4(2) Greece 0(0) Uruguay 3(1) Costa Rica 1(1) England 1(0) Italy 1(1) Cote d'Ivoire 2(1) Japan 0(0) Switzerland 0(0) Ecuador 0(0) France 2(1) Honduras 0(0) Argentina 3(1) Bosnia Herzegovina 2(1) Germany 1(1) Portugal 2(1) Iran 0(0) Nigeria 2(1) Ghana 2(1) USA 1(1) Belgium 3(1) Algeria 0(0) Russia 2(1) Korea Republic 2(2) Lol... Either this World Cup is going to be really entertaining, or I'm way off!
  7. Swansea have had a bid accepted for Luc Castaignos (sp). Heard a few good things about him. Don't know if he'd be worth a dig at £6.5m.
  8. Thought Froch had him worked out for the most part, and looked the more industrious and dangerous when they came together. Had him pretty well in control. In the last 2 rounds Groves put a lot more together and was definitely taking those rounds for me. Can't stand Jim Watt. Bitter, bitter man. Lost all respect for him during a couple of Hatton fights, where he just seemed to be so jealous of the fact that these fellas are making mega bucks doing what he did for a pittance.
  9. I started questioning myself when he said that... thinking is this all part of some masterplan the Khan has worked out. lol Glad that Froch won, and in emphatic style like that. No room for argument or controversy then!
  10. Based on what some of you are saying, do you reckon Naismith could be the 'killer' in the partnership?
  11. 2 hours of my life I will never get back. Boring with no real thrust for me, and quite a lot of poncing around. Only bright spark was seeing 4 Blues get on the pitch.
  12. But did you know that some of Lukaku's goals we're scored whilst he was a kid playing in Belgium.
  13. "... It is unlikely Spurs would let him leave on the cheap" No shit Sherlock. Would love him here if Spuds were to let him go.
  14. You lot have got some gump-tion starting this off again.
  15. Could be a decent option since De-leaf-eu is a goner.
  16. Looks to have pretty good technique, but no gas whatsoever!
  17. As long as he bears all his sentiments in mind if the shite bid for him in 12mths time.
  18. There's a few surprises in there alongside the usual not good enough to make it at PL level. Reckon you could get a pretty decent starting 11 out of the lot have been released. Gomes (Tottenham) Cole (Chelsea), Lexcott (Man C), Ferdinand (Man U), Dossena (Sunderland) Albrighton (Villa), Lampard (Chelsea), Collison (West Ham), Gera (West Brom) Bendtner (Arsenal), Etoo (Chelsea)
  19. Read today that Monaco have parted ways with Ranieri, which you would imagine could be a decent opportunity for Traore to get some game time at Monaco with the new manager coming in. Don't think this one will be happening as a result.
  20. I think I've said it before, but I'd quite happily take all of those lads off City.... No problem. You would hope that (for the most part) they would come hungry and with a point to prove having not played all that regularly, and also at a reasonable price if City need to seek to stay within FFP rules. Bony... Still not hugely sold on, but having said that I know loads of you lads are not that keen on Lukaku coming back (which would be my choice btw). I think the squad itself will certainly be bigger next season anyway, due to the young lads coming back from loan spells and a few other possibly making the transition to legitimate squad members. Add that to the 3 lads who will make their way back after long term injury and we're not in dire need of a huge overhaul and could probably afford to put a lot in for our 1 marquee signing/ 2-4 good quality signings.
  21. Ha ha.... Barcodes also mentioned. SURPRISE!
  22. I'd quite possibly take all 4 on as we will definitely need the additional bodies next season. Little bit of Bobby Love could see Richards, Rodwell and Sinclair live up to the hype that surrounded them previously.
