  1. Disappointed to have not got one decent signing in on the day, but its been generally quiet anyway I think. Our best business, without doubt, has been getting rid of the dead wood. Never thought it would happen, but suggests that there is a proper strategy behind what we're doing.... I hope!
  2. Listening to the first couple cracked me up... stuttering and stumbling over their words because they had no reasoning other than jealousy and spite to try and construct some sort of an argument.
  3. Everton 3-1 Southampton Lukaku Really wanted to go for Calvert-Lewin
  4. Mirallas for me. Gana was a very close second for the job he did on Pogba. My 8 yr old son said to me that he thought Lukaku had been subbed at half time.
  5. Thanks to all of you. Hoping there's some sporting luck today. Horse with his name running in about 20 minutes too.
  6. My dad passed away on Wednesday, so a big fat win would go down a storm for him. He's loved seeing how we've played this year.
  7. Personally I feel a bit more Kyle Naughton rather than Kyle Walker about the whole thing! Only frustrating thing is that this prick seems to have sounded us out, and then doubled back leaving any other plans, we might have had, dead in the water!
  8. Berahino is a grub, and will do well not to get sent off second half I reckon. Better with Lukaku as a focal point in attack, but we have to defend set pieces ( and in general) more effectively. Holgate looks very comfy at right back, and Gana is everywhere!
  9. If he was available for around 12-15m, personally I think it would be a bargain.
  10. I'd assume the fabric would be same high performance stuff the players shirts are made of... That being said, that yellow shirt is fooking orrible!
  11. £65m is a good deal, but it adds a chunk onto whoever we go for after that. Get a decent player thrown into the mix (I'd go for Begovic over Remy) and that deal becomes almost impossible to turn down... As long as that is obviously what is offered and not some more fiction from the papers.
  12. All of the speculation on clauses aside... This will never happen!!! Why come here for 'another' building project. He's just done it with Leicester, and his stock is at is highest right now. He goes anywhere, it will be to an established CL club.
  13. If true, £9m is a great price. Before he went to Chelsea he was fantastic.
  14. I'd be ok with Bony plus £30-35m Bony's value certainly can't have increased much (if anything) while he's been there.
  15. When the inevitable happens I think I'll be done with football.... At least until my son signs his £2,000,000 a week contract!
