I thought he did really well last night, especially considering he's been out for a bit with injuries and probably isn't 100%.

I've always liked him, just think he needs to be bit more intelligent sometimes and stay on his feet a bit more often.

For me there's definitely still some legs in this rumour, despite not hearing anything for a day or two.

Spurs are clearly looking for reinforcements up top, otherwise they wouldn't be chasing a pudding with an attitude problem (Adriano not Yak).

Sky were doing something similar the other day. Naming top keepers/defenders/midfielders/attackers of the year. They picked about 6 of each I think.

I was amazed when I watched the defenders bit, that Jagielka didn't even get a mention.

Clichy, Carragher, Glen Johnson, Laursen, Ferdinand and Vidic.

Good players but Jags has been outstanding since moving into defence on a permanent basis for us!

Gave my vote to Arteta! Really starting to hit his straps now.

Good 20mins from young Gosling again aswell. Lad who I taught, has played for England with Gosling, reckons that Gosling is one of the best players he's played with. Was very surprised it's taken so long for him to get a run of games.

Didn't get to see the gammyself, but from what I heard Arteta bossed it again in midfield! Going to wait and see if we get any coverage on MOTD first before I make a decision though I think!

They'll be too busy trying to sort a new manager out to worry about Lescott!
