What if Mykolenko is being earmarked as a left-centre back in the way he used Coleman on the right of a 3 man defence? Lampard did it at Chelsea with Azpalcueta too.

Dennis from Watford is a name I’m seeing constantly linked to us - £20m. Wish we’d spotted him this time last year.

No problem with that - I just think we need to move on now completely from Kenwright and Moshiri (who’s rumoured to want to retain 10%) et al.

Supposedly there’s £20m ‘wiggle room’ as it stands - probably includes wages and other fees - basically, we need to sell before we can do anything!

Cracking signing for them - he looks quality. Southampton buy really well from ‘bigger’ Premier League teams.

I’ve read a few bits (on social media and within articles so won’t post links) that Kenyon’s group would want 100% ownership and Kenyon would be on the board. If this does happen, this is the outcome I want. Kenyon did a great job at Man U then was a key part in starting the success that Chelsea are still enjoying now. I think he’s been involved in facilitating deals since then but I want him part of the club - he knows football and big business.

I’d love to be as nearly-ran as Spurs! Champions League this season - one of the best managers in world football - massive pull and miles ahead of us.

We’d definitely need to sell Keane and Mina before we got Coady and Tarkowski - like for like(ish) wage/age wise but much more reliable than we’ve had. It wouldn’t surprise me as we seem to have the younger prospects in Godfrey, Branthwaite, maybe Welch and the average back-up/squad player who doesn’t cost too much in wages in Holgate - these elements don’t necessarily need replacing, they need better alongside - Tarkowski does that for me over Mina as he’ll hopefully be available more and, although I don’t really rate him, Coady is a very good leader and seems to really organise a back 3 - qualities Keane lacks in. Do you trust your source? Or has he just read this and is taking a plump…

I’ll believe it when I see it but and that’s a massive hypothetical BUT if we sold Mina and Keane (which I think would have to happen) to sign Tarkowski and Coady, we’d be in a much better position for a similar cost. We’d definitely be playing 3 at the back if this happened.
