I'm going to put myself out there to be shot down again but I think a big problem with our fans is we hype youngsters up too much... who can blame us after producing one of the best players the country has ever seen?! We've blooded as many youngsters as any and we are doing it now. Yeah I'd love to see more of Barkley and Duffy keep his place (and he may). But these youngsters need to be bedded into the Premier League and I'd say we bed them in a lot quicker than most e.g. Phil jones has now made about 50 PL appearances, Rodwell's almost double that. Who are the best youngsters in our league currently? McCecheran (spelling?!), Oxlade Chamberlain? Both are being eased in Josh M being loaned out as has Cleverley, Sturridge, Wilshire, Welbeck In the past. If Moyes thinks the youngsters are ready he will play them and it'll be up to them to keep the shirt, currently Duffy is covering injuries to senior players, he hasn't done enough yet to make him totally undropable - I hope he does play against at least fulham and then we'll see. Rodwell is now 1st choice, he's 21? Not bad at all, he could play for the next 15years in our midfield. Barkley is only 18 and he missed a whole year of his development with the broken leg. He will get more game time this season but none of us know exactly the situation. For bad or worse - all we have is conspiracies and hear say. Football is different to the 'united won't win anything with kids' team and Rooney/ Fabregas (playing regular football at 17) are freaks - worldclass freaks!!! Maybe many of our youths just aren't that good but certainly in Barkley, Rodwell and Duffy we have 3 gems who certainly look part of our future - let's support them and give them the time they need (and not get too carried away!) Villa tried flooding their team with youngsters last season, as Blackburn have done at times this season - neither have actually done much as a result. Time will tell on ours.

The thing with yak is yeah he's a goalscorer and yeah we're desperate for a goalscorer but the fact remains he only actually had one good season playing for us, his stats say 6 in 36 in the 2nd full season (ignore his actual 2nd season because of the injury) - 6 in 36 is poor even by saha's standards! It's no secret we could have sold him for a lot pre-injury and maybe something was lined-up with Arry??? Yak should not have been dropped when he was last season in my opinion but to be fair he wasn't scoring and we were doing shite... off to Leicester, he scored regularly but they didn't get promoted and they chose not to make the deal permanent to many LCFC fans relief! Off to Blackburn... once again scoring for fun but look at Blackburn, they're below even us! Big shout now... I will go as far to say if Yak had played on Sat we would have won - great goalscorer - no doubt, can hold the ball up better than most but has he ever really made the difference to a team? E.g. winning them games consistently, it's okay scoring but winning is the most important thing in football. Don't get me wrong, offer me yak in a straight swap for saha and I'd snap your hand off but there must be a reason why yakubu has never played for a big, big team.

Agree he saves us time and time again but there seem to have been a few more 'poor' decisions this season - some of this must be down to less protection at the back too though.

Their goal was definately Howards fault - there seem to be more mistakes creeping into his game. I'd like us to keep a close eye on Kaspar Schmeichel's development as I think he could be signed (unless Leicester go up) and become our number 1 and Howard's replacement.

He's got his own place in Dubai, but I'd imagine many footballers do!

Very good indeed... I think Blackburn targeted him on set pieces and he dealt with them admirably. We need to build him into that back 4 and make him a first teamer for the next decade (at least).

Gibson as he only needs one touch to control then one to pass... others could learn a lot from him.
