  1. It's not either... I actually know this but only because I've answered a similar qu which had something to do with relegation... (am I talking about the correct person?)
  2. Zoo's Question of the Day Round 7: Who is the only player to win the Champions League, UEFA Cup, Premier League and FA Cup with four differant teams? Anelka?
  3. Albert Fererre (whatever his name is!), Reyes, Del Horno. Think Pique too but maybe didn't play enough to qualify for a medal.
  4. Definately Yorke. And probably Parker.
  5. You're giving out subliminal messages again!!! I'll 2nd Wolves.
  6. West Brom - must hold the prem record anyway!
  7. Preston North End (or another founder member?)
  8. Strachan, Brehmner, Cantona, Hunter.
  9. Wenger loaned an 18-19 year old jack wilshere out, when many thought he should have been playing at Arsenal, he came back, got another pre-season under his belt and was a key player until he got injured. If we loan Ross to a team like Southampton, Blackpool or Cardiff, even just for a month I think it would do him the world of good.
  10. I'd like to see (when Donovan's gone)... 1st choice xi: ...............Howard............... Hibbo..Heit...Distin...Baines Drenthe..Rod..Felli..Pienaar ......Anichebe...Jelavic......... Back-up xi: ...............Mucha............... Coleman..Jags...Duffy...Nev .........Gibson...Cahill........... .................Barkley.............. Baxter.......................Gueye .............Straq/Velios............ Obviously there's 2 different systems there and we have a few injuries at the mo. Watching Newcastle this season shows that 4-4-2 isn't dead, it's worked for them even with Best and Ameobi up top at times! I would actually like to see Anichebe given a run, up-top and as part of a front 2. I just think he's beefed up (muscle) so much he could really bully defenders and put the shits up them. I too would like Barkley get game time and think he should get it in the hole that Cahill usually fills. Like said before I'd like Cahill to play as more of a DMC, breaking up play and putting himself about (as back-up though). Nev is probably our back-up for Baines and Hibbert - couldn't see Coleman and Drenthe working on the same flank!
  11. I share that opinion to some degree. Sir Alex has changed his assistant regularly in his time - new ideas - they've not done too shoddy!!! I'd like Wilkins or someone from the continent e.g queirez at man.utd.
  12. No, talking about Moyes.
  13. Yes but who? My first point was why would Rodgers come to us?
  14. Agree, it was ticking along until the freak goal - that put us on the front and them on the back foot.
  15. Watford/Reading? He's Jose's 'student' as Jose was 'Sir Bobby's'. I think he will be a very good manager (good pedigree) and admire how his team are playing currently, but it's early to be getting too carried away about him.
  16. Had Vic not equalised? I was quite happy with our starting line-up, bringing Neville on for Cahill however was a very negative substitution.
  17. Off the top of my head, Allen, Williams, Taylor - Wales, Sig(whatever his name is)arson - Iceland, Caulker/Sinclair/McCechran - Eng u21. I'd imagine Vorm (and Krul of NUFC) will be in a Dutch squad very soon too. Yeah we've got a lot more but we're an established PL club. When Swansea are established in the PL like Stoke then we can talk about how great Rodgers is. Don't get me wrong, I like him but he hasn't really proved anything yet - remember they're still on a high after coming up, didn't Wigan finish 8th in their 1st season? Moral at EFC this season must be so low with all the outs over the summer, it seems to be on the up now. I have been very frustrated by some of Moyes decisions this season but he has had his hands tied for the last 3 years, he had built something (to a point) and hasn't been able to push on. I would like to see some of the players not playing, playing and a more positive approach at times but that's what we don't know so who's to say it would work? I for one still think Moyes is the right man for the job - in the current climate anyway.
  18. I agree and hope it works for them. What I'm saying though is if it doesn't work for them and say they free fall now until the end of the season, we won't be talking about how well he had done on here!
  19. A Tamworth fan who I work with said things to effect after the FA Cup game. I haven't read all posts - anyone know of the well being of the child/father?
  20. The same Saha who was sadly our only striker with any experience at the highest level and has been a top, top Premiership striker - it didn't work for him but as already stated, I think Spurs will get a bit out of him. If we had Beckford or Yak I would have called for them to be playing but Velios and Straq were our only other options - you could say both have done more in their little time? Neither are good enough though - hopefully we have the resolution now in Jelavic - only time will tell. As for Bily, he clearly isn't a Premier League winger but in saying that he clearly isn't a Premier League player. Signing him was a mistake.
  21. Brendan Rodgers manages many internationals, not as many as Moyes but still internationals and yes he's playing great football at the moment (mainly at home). At the same time though they looked as poor as any team I've seen at Goodison this season. Blackpool played some great stuff like Swansea, but ultimately got found out. What becomes of Rodgers if Swansea go on a lean streak? Will he still be touted our saviour for his half season of good football in the PL? Holloway is long forgotten, Coyle is barely mentioned, Moyes is no longer our saviour - football fans are fickle (and I'm not excluding myself from that generalisation.)
