I think Drenthe is a classy player but agree that Denis has done more to earn his move but we've expected a lot less from him. Give me Drenthe vs Man.City or Blackpool on a weekly basis though - yes please! I want Drenthe and Denis - Royston just needs to show the effort/maturity (class is undoubted) to be a Prem player on a more regular basis.

Sunday 26th February 2012: What was the original idea behind the Football League Cup in season 1960-61? I've heard it was made mid-season when Liverpoo were doing poorly and the idea was to give them another chance to win something and get into Europe just in case! (Everton were never to be allowed to win it!) liverpoo have been allowed to win on 'off' seasons regularly ever since... That's what I've heard anyway!

It has to be a team who was good enough to finish 2nd in the league (one season wonder) in a season where the champions also won the f.a.cup...
