  1. I still think he has enough to offer to be a squad player certainly this season and maybe another year. I think he'll be a great coach but will want to play on for at least another year or so. With that in mind I can see him following Timmy into MLS.
  2. He said 'one of his last seasons' - I'd expect that, he needs to play champs league as he's that good, if he doesn't get it with us over the next couple of years and he keeps up his high standards then he shouldn't be begrudged this move. Would hate this scenario but imagine him as a pairing with Yaya Toure - would be the most dominant force in world football!!!
  3. Not if he was interviewed by Belgian media!? Why would they speak to him in English?
  4. Hopefully he has been misquoted or this has been lost in translation... http://sportwitness.ning.com/forum/topics/manchester-united-and-chelsea-target-fellaini-says-he-wants-to-le
  5. Of course - looked silly when I typed it. Great result but don't think he'll top his division on the back of that performance, gave Miranda too much respect.
  6. Tony 'Bomber' Bellow has just beaten Miranda in the 9th. Not the best fight - Bellow seemed to hold back every time he had a chance!
  7. Naughty boy! http://www.scotzine.com/2012/09/naismith-could-be-in-trouble-after-he-hits-out-at-serb/

  9. Bruges were late with their paper work it seems - if that is the case we could probably still get him on appeal.
  10. Given the option of this deal falling through straight away just to close this thread I think I would take it!!!
  11. As it stands with Southampton drawing and Villa winning the RS are 2nd bottom!
  12. It may be worth putting £5 on Owen to Liverpoo - not sure what the odds are but I can see this happening on the back of today/not replacing Carroll.
  13. I stand corrected, it was Jimmy Lumsden Moyes brought from Preston!
  14. Irvine was a coach at Preston - we got Round from Newcastle.
  15. It's from twitter but I'm sure he reads toffeetalk too!
  16. He's not in their team or on the bench so must have been the case.
  17. Maybe the squad list hadn't be updated from yesterday? Will have a look when their teams are announced.
  18. I can't really see where your getting this from but Moyes and Irvine had already worked together at Preston so have worked together for a number of years. Moyes must have respect for Round as he had to 'buy him out' of his Newcastle contract where he was previously employed - Round was Moyes' choice. Part of me has agreed when people have suggested freshening it up with the backroom/assistants to bring fresh ideas e.g. Ferguson with his different assistants but this team seems to be working and I think our key management figures - Moyes/Round/Irvine are very likeable and I'm proud of the set-up we have.
  19. Vadis Odjidja ‏@VadisOfficial Dear supporters. As you have probably heard through various media. There is some commotion about my possible transfer to Everton FC. (1) Vadis Odjidja ‏@VadisOfficial I have decided not to communicate about this until the FIFA ruling on monday. (2) Vadis Odjidja ‏@VadisOfficial I wish the club and the supporters the best for the game against Standard! Vadis (3)
  20. It happened again! I woke at 5am this time, found out he'd signed and fell back to sleep with a smile upon my face!
  21. ...but this is a Fellaini clone type deal! I remember being too tired then and turn the TV back on in the night to find we had signed him - I think that may happen again tonight!
  22. Nor me but he's Belgian and when Fellaini signed past the deadline a couple of years back not many had heard of him... we've done what I've been demanding - we've cloned Fellaini!
