    Certainly scored a blinder - not sure how he played! I think he's got a Ledley King/ Paul McGrath type injury where he's not going to be able to train/play every week - it's just whether he's fit enough to play at all and still got the hunger/ability to play for one of the top sides.

    We're linked to him as a short term option in one of today's papers but I can't remember which one. If he was fit enough then it'd be a no brainer but he's not been fit for 4years now!

    Correct but other 'normal' tweeters aren't in the same circles as crouch and clancy. You shouldn't be calling people's wives/ mother of his child that in public. A more extreme example is Leon knight abusing o'hara and his mrs.

    This thread needs closing and peteO needs to wind his neck in. Fair enough Baxter voices his disappointment but he's in the public eye and should do it in a more eloquent manner.

    It was 33-1 on all 4 home nations winning... I suspect those odds would have been at least twice as good for non of them winning!!!

    Glenn Johnson just winds me up so bad!!!! It frustrates me to watch him in a team I support - don't care about him for his club! Elsewhere... bye, bye Craig Levein (although the Serbian result may have got unfair criticism with the just smashing Wales 6-1!)

    On Lallana, I've heard he's a massive blue (maybe actually on here!) Hopefully we're keeping an eye on him - club captain at Saints so obviously highly regarded.

    All we need is Zenit to enter the bidding - then we're talking €40m at least. It'll interesting to hear what he says next weekend when he's back with the club and attentions turn to EFC v NUFC.
