Just watched the YouTube clip and Evans has jumped in just as much - I think the only defence the ref has is Evans has jumped at the ball but it looks like shelvey has jumped at Evans because of the scissors movement. Must admit I didn't notice this when watching it live.
From the highlights I've seen from yesterday's game he looks good on the ball and eager going forward and always looking to have a shot but working back he looks lazy or maybe not wise enough positionally - I think this is the reason he is out on loan rather than helping to ease our shortage in the cm position.
I'd rather liverpoo finished 3rd and us 4th to us finishing 5th and them much lower. I'm an Evertonian, them doing poor is a bonus but I want us to be as high as possible at every point throughout the season regardless of their plight.
So united fans have managed to show restraint and maturity towards the occasion and Suarez, etc... but the red shite are still booing Evra (because he was racially abused!!!) - typical Kopite behaviour!!!
This is something I never thought I'd say but I'll say it anyway...
YNWA being sung at Anfield has just given me goose pimples - a lot of passion built up over many years of injustice in that stadium today! 'Well done' Evra and Suarez for being grown-up enough to shake too!
@EFCFeelinBlue: Everton's record when Victor Anichebe scores: Played 26, Won 21, Drawn 5, Lost 0
Not sure if this is correct but interesting if so.
I was delighted for him yesterday and I hope for a few more performances of the same - like him or not, he's doing the business when he gets his chance (as he did last season) so we must get behind the lad!
I'll drink anything really!
Special mentions for JD, Guiness, Bulmers, Havana Club, Perroni, Desperado, a nice bottle of red and of course the true rock n' roll drink - Pina Colada!!!
He was a blue really though!
"I have been received more warmly by Everton than I have by Liverpool. It is scandalous that I should have to write these things about the club that I helped build into what it is today."
That's why we'll always be the People's Club!
Yet he's a 1 in 2.5 striker and one of the most prolific strikers in the EPL in recent years. He's scored regularly for West Ham, Spurs (in 2 spells), Pompy and England.
Knockaert for Leicester looks a very bright prospect. Wolves vs Leicester has been a great game entertainment wise and to be fair decent quality as well (shit defences!)
