  1. Really interesting stat... @GavinBuckland1: 2 - pts per game for #EFC with Phil Neville in side in 2012/13 (29 pts/14 games) v 1 pt per game when absent (7/7) #skipper
  2. Do we have anyone on here who actually knows what they're talking about regarding the accounts though? We can all see that loss has increased but I'm sure our losses are a lot less than many in English/world football! It's easy to dismiss these and see increased loss and be negative but if an expert is saying we're a well run club then I'd like to hear his justification. Our debt's £50m ish? What's the extra tv income? Yes we all know we 'need' investment but we're still a well run football club.
  3. @connjam: Football finance expert on @bbcmerseyside says #everton accounts make impressive reading and show an extremely well run club.
  4. I've gone for Pienaar, every time the ball came to him it stuck and we kept possession. He stood out so much when compared to Naismith who was the complete opposite. Obviously baines/chebes were our match winners but I must also mention Jelavic for working his balls off!
  5. 6months left on his contract - so small fee or just a loan where we pay his full wages maybe?
  6. Put him in the Felli role off Jela and Felli back in the middle would be my preference.
  7. No but there's lots of slow motion close ups of her sucking the pen as she ponders 4 across. Works for me!
  8. I've got a blue-ray of her doing a challenging crossword in a very nice car!!!
  9. It wouldn't surprise me if sir Alex is keeping an eye on the lampard situation.
  10. Injuries - he's been pretty much a 1st teamer since he's been there but struggled with his fitness for large periods.
  11. An anagram of Hardcir Manlot... interesting...
  12. If he is on the move then Man Citeh are going to be one of the clubs in for him - 100%!
  13. Very admirable that you can speak 3 languages! ...but any respect shown to you is masked now by you blowing your own trumpet! I'm sure Avin can whip up a special medal or trophy for you... Well done! Anyway back on topic... I think Lescott is a real possibility on loan to buy. Other than this I don't think there are many other prem targets/options. BUT... (mildly realistic) The Bent situation at Villa may be worth watching (loan deal?), what's going on with Malouda at Chelsea? Can Spurs keep all their CM's happy? As said before McCarthy would be a good signing for us but would be too expensive in the January transfer window (I'm still holding out for Lallana at the end of the season though!!!)
  14. It was, he said pretty much the same about Terry Henry this time last year too.
  15. Jags and Johnny doesn't seem to work and more and more mistakes are creeping into Distin's game - Johnny is our best footballing centre back but I just think Jags is 'the one'. He puts himself on the line more, because of this and what we all know already johnny out and Lescott in will improve our defensive unit - the area where we have lacked in this season. Lescott on a loan to buy deal would be great, as presuming we sell johnny Moyes could use that money well - look back to last year... selling billy allowed us to get Gibson, Jela and Pienaar on-loan!
  16. I'd say we have no chance... United will use their 4 strikers - RVP, Rooney, Welbeck, Hernandez as they're in 3 major comps which they could win. Ferguson wouldn't sell and I can't see Hernandez wanting a move either - even if he did, then I doubt he'd choose us over some of the teams he'd attract.
  17. This won't happen now Liverpoo have bid £19.5m! We just can't compete on that level!
